Todo comenzó un fatídico día de verano de 2023, cuando Cecil decidió imprimir algunas pegatinas de su personaje original, Dylan Qin, para pegarlas por la ciudad. Cuando empezó a hacerlo (¡a plena luz del día, nada menos!), no tenía ni idea de que existía un nombre para esa actividad (bombardeo de pegatinas, abofeteo de pegatinas, etc.), solo una vaga conciencia de que era algo que la gente hacía.

A medida que colocaba más pegatinas, empezó a fijarse en otros artistas callejeros de la ciudad y descubrió que había toda una comunidad oculta a simple vista. La gente empezó a encontrar sus pegatinas y a etiquetarla en Instagram, y ella también empezó a etiquetar a otros artistas.

Así comenzó su descenso hacia el mundo de las pegatinas y el arte callejero. Cecil se volvió adicta rápidamente a hacer, intercambiar, vender y pegar pegatinas, y ahora son una parte integral de su vida. ¡Espera seguir creando y compartiendo pegatinas con otros adictos... quiero decir, entusiastas de todo el mundo!

It all began one fateful summer's day in 2023 when Cecil decided to print some stickers of her original character, Dylan Qin, to stick up around the city. When she started doing it (in broad daylight, no less!) she had no idea there was even a name for the activity (sticker bombing, sticker slapping, etc.), just a vague awareness that it was something people did.

As she put up more stickers, she started noticing other street artists in the city and discovered there was a whole community hidden in plain sight. People began finding her stickers and tagging her on Instagram, and she started tagging other artists as well.

Thus began her descent into the sticker rabbit hole and street art scene. Cecil quickly became addicted to making, trading, selling, and slapping stickers, and they are now an integral part of her life. She hopes to keep creating and sharing stickers with other addi— I mean enthusiasts around the world!
