It began with my own need for help
Hace doce años, no pensaba en emprender un negocio. Solo intentaba ayudar a mi madre a cuidar a mi padre, que tenía Alzheimer.
Cualquiera que haya cuidado a alguien conoce esos momentos en público —en el supermercado, el banco, un restaurante— en los que el comportamiento de tu ser querido no coincide con lo que los desconocidos esperan. Las miradas confusas. El juicio. El agotamiento de tener que dar explicaciones una y otra vez.
Así que diseñé algo sencillo: tarjetas de presentación. Tarjetitas que podíamos entregar a la gente y que explicaban con calma la situación de mi padre sin tener que repetirnos ni sentirnos expuestos en el momento.
Marcaron una gran diferencia para nosotros. Y sabía que si nos ayudaban, también ayudarían a otros cuidadores.
Así empezó esta tienda: de la necesidad real de una familia y la esperanza de que lo que nos ayudó a nosotros pudiera ayudar a alguien más que recorriera un camino similar.
En los últimos 12 años, la tienda ha crecido e incluye diarios devocionales, tarjetas con las Sagradas Escrituras, productos para el cuidado de la piel, cerámica y otras piezas hechas a mano. Lo que no ha cambiado es su esencia: crear recursos para la vida real, hechos con esmero y atención al detalle.
Después de más de 500 reseñas de cinco estrellas, sigo aquí: sigo creando, sigo aprendiendo y sigo esperando que lo que creo llegue justo a ti donde lo necesitas.

Twelve years ago, I wasn't thinking about starting a business. I was just trying to help my mom care for my dad, who had Alzheimer's.
Anyone who's been a caregiver knows those moments in public - at the grocery store, the bank, a restaurant - when your loved one's behavior doesn't match what strangers expect. The confused looks. The judgment. The exhaustion of explaining over and over.
So I designed something simple: introduction cards. Small cards we could hand to people that quietly explained my dad's situation without having to repeat ourselves or feel exposed in the moment.
They made such a difference for us. And I knew if they helped us, they'd help other caregivers too.
That's how this shop started - from one family's real need and the hope that what helped us might help someone else walking a similar road.
Over the past 12 years, the shop has grown to include devotional journals, scripture cards, skincare, pottery, and other handmade pieces. What hasn't changed is the heart behind it: creating resources for real life, made with care and attention to detail.
