Magnificent and I am thrilled. When I first saw Florence’s work I was intrigued. The techniques and forms are so intriguing. I had to wait some time while she was offline from Etsy, but unwrapping my ‘totem’ this afternoon was such a joyful moment and the personal touches were heartwarming. Thank you so very much.

Beautiful piece!

This bowl arrived very quickly. It is a work of art. Its mottled pink, pale burnt-umber, silvery-grey-birch white, darker and lighter grays and patches of white look like landscapes. I decided immediately not to use it for black tea, which would stain it. I use it for water. The light glimmers down imaginary mountainsides, streams with boulders, houses, etc. I also use it for white tea, occasionally for green but never for black tea, which would stain it. While Florence Pauliac says it should reflect the days of its owner, I think it should also retain its original beauty. I have it constantly in front of me on my kitchen table - we use our very large kitchen almost as our living room - where I work (I am a writer and journalist.)

This bowl makes me think of the earth and lichens growing on stones and I love it! Thank you so much for creating these gorgeous bowls, and for a perfect transaction!
