Meet our newest animal, the Giraffe! After a recent trip to the Cheyenne Mountain zoo, I was inspired to create this sweet giraffe. We are donating 20 % of our etsy sales to Abide Family Center now through Monday, October 24th.

The Stationery Bakery offers delicious stationery that inspires, brings laughter, and is oh so pretty!

Sarah Donovan started The Stationery Bakery out of her tiny apartment kitchen. The idea was to offer custom invites only. She spent hours drawing ideas, hand assembling invitation sets, and getting lost in the world of custom design. Sarah discovered after a few months of hard work, greeting cards were absolutely what she loved! Her greeting card line started with the quirky and retro plaid holiday cards and has grown into much more! Sarah offers hand illustrated greeting cards from floral beauties to textile inspired patterns. Each series starts with hours of research, sketches, and lots of paint! Sarah uses a local printer to print her cards and gift tags, and prints her fine art prints on a brand new fine art printer in her home studio. Her goal is to bring happiness to her customers through her charming and colorful paper goods.

All my designs start from scratch. I find my inspiration from everyday colors, textures, vintage vogue covers, retro illustrations and typographic posters.

My philosophy is to share my love of art and appreciation for beautiful design and typography with you!

Retours et échanges
Returns and exchanges are not accepted due to the nature of custom design.

We are not responsible for misspelled words in approved proofs, so be sure to check your proofs over carefully for spellings, punctuation, capitalization and grammar.

Returns based on color are not accepted. All computer monitors are different, so the printed pieces will vary from what you see on your computer. If you want to see the closest match to a specific color, we recommend ordering a printed sample. Due to the custom nature of printing, these colors can vary over time and may not match perfectly. While color may vary, we do put much time and effort into each order to make sure it is clean, beautiful and very professional.

Orders are put together by hand of artist and designer not a machine!

We carefully check each order prior to shipping, but if there is a problem with your order please let us know as soon as possible and we will gladly fix it for you!
+ Custom Stationery Deposit +

A $50 deposit is required for custom stationery. This deposit is required for your first set of proofs and will apply to your order total. Once we have designed your proofs the deposit cannot be refunded.

+ Proofing Process +

Your order includes 3 rounds of pdf (sent via email/etsy message) proofs. The first round of proofs will be emailed to you after you have submitted your wording. You may request changes two additional times, resulting in two additional sets of proofs. Each set of proofs after the initial 3 sets will be $15.

If you are having addressing on the back flap of the envelope, we will sent a digital proof of the address. Keep in mind, colors vary from screen to screen so the color printed will appear slightly different.

Full payment on your order is required before printing begins. The balance will be due after proof approval and before printing.

What's included in the proofing process?

• Personalization of your wording
• Color changes (to any color shown on our color sheet)
• 3 different digital samples to choose from if you are going the completely custom route

What's NOT included in the proofing process?

• Font changes ($15 fee if font changes are allowed on the design)
• Custom color formulation (e.g. color changes to colors not shown on our color sheet) ($20 fee)
• Major layout changes ($25 fee)
• Custom logos not already shown on the design or graphics changes ($15 fee)
• Additional hand drawn artwork (price depends on what you are seeking)

+ Font Changes +

Additional font changes are not included in the proofing process but can be accommodated on select designs for a $15 design fee. On invitations where the fonts are the focus of the design, it is not recommended to change the fonts.

+ Custom Colors +

You can personalize your wedding stationery to any of the colors shown on our color chart. Color changes are complimentary and included in the proofing process.

If you would like a color that is not on our color chart there is a $15 fee for custom color design. If you are worried about how the colors will actually appear in print, we highly recommend ordering a sample as colors will vary from screen to screen and definitely screen to print.

+ Cancellation Policy +

There is a flat fee of $50.00 for any cancellations after digital proofs have been sent, that is in addition to the deposit placed upon ordering.

There is a fee for the time spent on creating custom design (even if it is not to your liking). We will begin design once you have placed an order, so the fee covers the initial time of design. The design process is included in the pricing of our stationery and after it has been completed we cannot refund that part of the cost.

Once you have approved your proofs and the production process has been started, you cannot cancel your order.
+ Shipping time for Samples +

Samples ship within 1-3 business days of ordering. Samples are shipped via first class mail and will arrive within 4-7 days in the US, and within 5-30 days internationally.

+ Wedding Invitations & Stationery Processing Time +

Proofs: Email proofs will arrive within 2 business days of placing your order and submitting your wording. Proofs make take 3 days if you are seeking a more complicated hand drawn/painted invitation, we will make this clear upon starting your order!

Printing: Printing takes 4-5 business days.

Production: It takes 2 business days to assemble invitation orders that come with belly bands, enclosures, lined envelopes, etc.

Additional product shipping to The Stationery Bakery: If you are having enclosures incorporated in an invitation set, it will take about 1 week to have those shipped to The Stationery Bakery. If you wish to have specialty paper incorporated, in may take longer and we will let the buyer know upon placing the order.

+ Domestic Shipping (within US) for Wedding Invitations and stationery product +

All stationery is carefully packaged. We ship via First class Mail which arrives within 4-7 days. Saturday delivery included. Priority and Express mail options are available for rush orders. Please let us know before shipping if you have any special instructions/preferences.

In the very rare case that you receive your package and are told to pay an additional postage fee, please notify us so we may cover that cost.

+ International Shipping (outside of the United States) +

We ship all international packages via First Class Mail. The shipping estimate for First Class Mail is 7-14 days. This is not a guarantee, but an estimate, and DOES NOT include time spent in customs. We are not responsible for any shipping delays due to customs.

Depending on the country, packages may stay in customs for several weeks or more. Please look into the customs and import policies of your country before placing your order. We recommend ordering 6-7 months in advance of your wedding for international customers.

+Duties & Taxes on International Shipments +

Some countries charge tax and duties on international shipments. You are responsible to take care of the duties or taxes that may apply to your order. Please look into the policies of your home country before placing your order.
