Essendo cresciuta con una madre artista, mi sono appassionata in modo naturale a tutto ciò che riguardava l'arte e l'artigianato. Pittura, uncinetto, scratch art, disegno, kit per lavoretti manuali, ecc. Dicci un'attività e con ogni probabilità ci ho provato.
Da adulta, ho deciso che mi sarebbe piaciuto realizzare da sola le decorazioni per la casa piuttosto che pagare qualcosa che non mi piaceva molto in un negozio di bricolage. Questo mi ha portato a creare le mie prime opere di string art nel 2021. Erano un po' grezze all'aspetto e, sebbene l'idea mi piacesse, i pezzi finiti non soddisfacevano le mie aspettative per la mia arte. Nel 2023, finalmente ne ho avuto abbastanza di guardare queste opere d'arte imperfette appese alle pareti e ho deciso di rifarle. E poi ho continuato a crearne altre. È diventato un hobby e, quando mi sono resa conto di averne realizzate troppe per appenderle in casa, ho deciso di provare a venderle. Dal 2023, ho creato oltre 60 modelli e realizzato ben più di 100 opere di string art che ho regalato, venduto su Etsy o esposto a fiere dell'artigianato.
Mi dà tanta gioia sapere che altri hanno visto la bellezza di questo mestiere e hanno sostenuto la mia piccola attività. Spero di continuare a coltivare questa passione e di condividerla con gli altri.
Growing up with an artistic mother, I naturally got hooked on anything arts & crafts. Painting, crochet, scratch art, drawing, craft kits, etc. You name a craft and there is a good chance I have dabbled with it.
As an adult, I decided I would like to make my own home decor rather than pay for something I didn't really love at a home store. This led me to creating my first string art pieces in 2021. They were a bit rough looking, and though I loved the idea, the finished pieces did not meet my expectations for my own art. In 2023, I finally had enough of looking at these imperfect artworks on my wall and decided to remake them. And then kept making more. It became a hobby, and when I realized I had made too many to hang in my own home, I decided to try my hand and selling them. Since 2023, I have created over 60 patterns, and made well over 100 string art pieces that I have either given as gifts, sold on etsy, or sold at craft shows.
It brings me so much joy knowing that others have seen the beauty in this craft and have supported my small business. I hope to continue this passion and sharing it with others
