Who is Shou'?
At the base of Studinano creations, there is Shou'. As a young artist, she mainly developed large frescoes made pixel by pixel. His work essentially revolves around a recurring problem; man and digital, man in the digital, man dissolved by digital. What happens to it? What form does it take?
Her passion for the Plastic Arts, she owes it to her late grandfather who passed on his passion for drawing. Coming from a working-class background, she must be self-taught in order to satisfy her passion for art. Her parents supported her and she won several small drawing contests in her childhood.
In 2006, it was therefore quite natural that she joined a literary program at the Lycée Watteau de Valenciennes, in the North of France, and chose to follow a heavy option in Plastic Arts.
In 2008, she developed a series of posters to present the centenary of her high school and made a short film of about forty minutes where she herself staged all the students in her class (also studying theater). She films and assembles the whole with the means of the edge and her knowledge acquired on the job, while not forgetting to prepare for the Baccalaureate that she will finally obtain with honors.
After obtaining this diploma, she entered a degree in Plastic Arts at the Faculty of Lille III.
Since middle school, Shou' has also been part of the Pixel Art internet community. Over the years, his knowledge in this field grows. In 2010, she chose to present her first prints on glossy paper in order to exhibit her digital work. These are the first large-format tests that will pave the way for his subsequent work.
In 2011, she finally decided to reconcile her passion for video art and digital drawing by working on the idea of crowd movements. Her projects, at first glance relatively abstract, are inspired by the time-lapse effect and allow "her pixels", as she likes to call them, to anteater as if they had always been made for it.
In 2012, the adventure continues. To be continued, then!
