My Sewing Journey
Cucisco da quando ero bambina, la mia maestra mi ha insegnato a cucire una bambola all'età di sei anni. Poi c'era un cuscino patchwork quando ero in Odessey of the Mind. Mia nonna poi mi ha preso sotto la sua protezione e mi ha permesso di aiutarla con i costumi di Halloween che mi ha realizzato. Al liceo ho iniziato a realizzare i miei vestiti e questo è durato fino al college.
Poi ho iniziato il mio percorso lavorativo e col tempo la mia macchina da cucire è stata utilizzata sempre meno. Ma una volta che ho avuto il mio primo figlio, l'ispirazione per realizzare quegli oggetti fatti a mano mi ha portato in un nuovo mondo di ispirazione e da allora il cucito è stato una costante.
Cucire e rimontare è una forma d'arte in cui trovo molta espressione creativa e ispirazione artistica quando creo nuovi pezzi. Cucire è un lavoro d'amore e mi rende felice vedere quanto i miei clienti apprezzano gli articoli artigianali che creo.

I have been sewing since I was a young child, my teacher taught me how to sew a doll at the age of six. Next was a patchwork pillow when I was in Odessey of the Mind. My grandmother then took me under her wing and let me help with the Halloween costumes that she made me. In high school I began making my own clothes and that lasted through college.
Then I began my career path and over time my sewing machine was used less and less. But once I had my first child, the inspiration to make them handmade items brought a new world of inspiration and sewing has been a constant since.
Sewing and piecing is an art form where I find a lot of creative expression and artistic inspiration when I create new pieces. Sewing is a labor of love and it makes my heart happy to see how much my customers appreciate the handcrafted items that I create.
