Preparation of fleeces, dyeing, spinning wool and natural fibers, knitwear, crochet and weaving...

Passionate and tireless knitter, I have always dressed my whole family with my needles. A few years ago, I found a small old spinning wheel on my way and it is the revelation.
Hand-spun wool offers so much beauty, originality, purity, and mixing that it brings to knitting, crocheting, the loom infinite possibilities of creation.
When we rush in, we do not retrace our steps, a new world is offered to us! A world made of stories common to all countries, a world made of traditions, languages, sweetness, warmth,...
So I explore the materials, the colors, the shapes day after day for the pleasure of your eyes...
I make it a point of honor to work only natural and pure materials, exsanguated chemical treatment such as cleaning fleeces with acidic products or synthetic dyes containing heavy metals. I have a particular interest in respect for the animal and carefully avoid fleeces that could come from farms undergoing mistreatment. My fleeces are harvested locally in Occitania from breeders or from a breeder who chooses them for their quality. They are washed by me without aggressive products. The wool is dyed with synthetic dyes labeled Oeko-Tex and sometimes with natural vegetable or animal materials without additives and heavy metals. As a result, my wool can be knitted to be worn by young children without risk. When I buy my raw material in France, its washing and combing remains local or is done in Italy and when I buy my wool abroad to benefit from the particular beauty of certain breeds, I choose to work with English suppliers.
Finally, I transmit what I have learned to those who would like to get to know a spinning wheel, I spin your fleeces, your animals of all hairs or almost, I demonstrate and explain this profession forgotten by the public.

Passionate about wool, I have always knitted and then one day chance led me in front of an old dusty spinning wheel forgotten in a corner of flea market and the story began. Wool and natural fibers offer so much creative possibility!
