Jewelry from far away ...
French living in Peru, Ingrid Thieblemont created "Grid" in 2010.
GRID jewelry comes from afar, tells a story, a beautiful story, the one we live, the one we invent ... They are imbued with memories, things that we cling to, that we identify with.
After years of living in Paris, working in fashion as a stylist, years punctuated by creation, and traveling, it was one of them in Peru in 2007 that changed the life of Ingrid, creator and ambassador of the Grid brand.
It was there, in Peru, in Cusco, in the heart of the Andes, that she learned to work with precious metals such as Gold and Silver and that she was able to perfect herself in her field. The deep desire to create his own brand could finally materialize.

After an artistic career, art school and then fashion, with a pronounced taste for meticulous things, little by little Ingrid began to accumulate hundreds of gray-grays from all over the world; from a pearl recovered from his grandmother, to a ....
His path was traced towards the creation of jewelry ...
"I've always created, from a piece of scribbled paper, to a small improvised notebook, from a few recovered pearls, to a unique necklace, I made personalized gifts to my family and friends, always unique things, I put myself in their shoes, followed their style, so I could create custom-made jewelry, and I always do it when I want to offer jewelry to someone."
That's how she became an accessory stylist.
Parisian life began to exhaust her after a few years, so she went to peru for a treck in 2007, and when she arrived in Cusco, the historic capital of the Incas, the natural energy of the earth, the magic and simplicity of things conquered her, we had to come back here, she had something to accomplish, to live on this earth.
And so 8 months later she returned to Cusco, volunteered at a local school, and learned Spanish. She stayed there and founded Grid in 2010.

The gray-gray "Grid":
Ingrid lives and creates in Cusco, in her studio, in her universe; she draws her inspiration from her daily life, from the raw material, from what the earth offers us: gold and silver, but also stones, so many natural materials that she likes to use raw, without making them shine too much for a more authentic aspect. She works them, experiments with them, she melts, polishes, files, pumice until she obtains a result that is always unique, sometimes unexpected but accurate...
Silver feathers, ancestral weaves from Peru, coins from all over the world...: everything mixes to become a new jewel, a new gri-gris carrying multiple memories, which will really correspond to a single person ...
Inspired by the Earth and its energy, inspired by travels and their memories, she creates jewelry for authentic men and women and travelers.

Just as we will identify with them, the "Grid" will identify with us, live with us, accompany us, and also define us, later ...
The necklace necklace would remind us of the desires of elsewhere, the message bracelet would help us to pass one, to someone, or to ourselves, something to identify with.
For Ingrid, the jewel is one of the only accessories that can stick exactly to someone, who can really represent it, as an extension of being.
Projects
At the end of 2011, when she came back from France, she wanted more, "selling in Paris is great, but I also wanted to meet customers, to exchange ideas, in fact, I wanted to immerse people in my universe, that they could travel in an instant in my world. "
So she opened her first shop in Cusco: L'atelier by Grid, where she creates her jewelry and leather clutches, she exhibits her travel photos, and she also sells some beautiful vintage pieces; clothes and bags ... This makes her an innovator in Cusco in this style of shop and in the enhancement of her work.
"Here, people do not highlight their work enough, they have extraordinary know-how and sell it ... I also try to convey a message of self-esteem. »
It sells to locals and tourists, many in this very visited region of Peru.
And after many requests from customers from all over the world entering the workshop by GRID, she decided to launch on the net, with her shop on etsy!

Des bijoux venus de loin …
Française installée au Pérou, Ingrid Thieblemont a créé « Grid » en 2010.
Les bijoux GRID viennent de loin, racontent une histoire, une belle histoire, celle qu'on vit, celle qu'on invente ... Ils sont empreints de souvenirs, de choses auxquelles on se raccroche, auxquelles on s’identifie.
Après des années de vie à Paris, de travail dans la mode en tant que styliste, des années rythmées par la création, et par les voyages, c’est un d’entre eux au Pérou en 2007 qui changea la vie d’ Ingrid, créatrice et ambassadrice de la marque Grid.
C’est là-bas, au Pérou, à Cusco, en plein cœur des Andes qu’elle apprit à travailler les métaux précieux comme l’Or et l'Argent et qu'elle put se perfectionner dans son domaine. Le désir profond de créer sa propre marque put enfin se concrétiser.

Portrait :

Après un parcours artistique, école d’art puis de mode, avec un goût prononcé pour les choses minutieuses, peu à peu Ingrid commença à accumuler des centaines de gris-gris provenant du monde entier ; d’une perle récupérée de sa grande mère, à un ….
Son chemin se traça vers la création de bijoux …
"J’ai toujours créé, d’un bout de papier gribouillé, à un petit carnet improvisé, de quelques perles récupérées, à un collier unique, je faisais des cadeaux personnalisés à ma famille et mes amis, toujours des choses uniques, je me mettais dans leur peau, suivait leur style, ainsi je pouvais créer un bijoux fait sur mesure, et je le fais toujours quand je veux offrir un bijoux à quelqu’un."
C’est ainsi qu’elle est devenue styliste accessoire.
La vie parisienne a commencé à l’épuiser au bout de quelques années, elle est donc partie faire un treck au Pérou, en 2007, et à son arrivée à Cusco, capitale historique des incas, l’énergie naturelle de la terre, la magie et la simplicité des choses l’ont conquis, il fallait revenir ici, elle avait quelque chose à accomplir, à vivre sur cette terre.
Et c’est ainsi que 8 mois plus tard elle revenait à Cusco, faire un volontariat dans une école locale, et apprendre l’espagnol. Elle y resta et fonda Grid en 2010.

Les gris-gris « Grid » :
Ingrid vit et crée à Cusco, dans son atelier, dans son univers ; elle puise son inspiration dans sa vie quotidienne, dans la matière brute, dans ce que nous offre la terre : l’or et l’argent, mais aussi les pierres, autant de matériaux naturels qu’elle aime à utiliser bruts, sans trop les faire briller pour un aspect plus authentique. Elle les travaille, les expérimente, elle fond, polis, lime, ponce jusqu’à obtenir un résultat toujours unique, parfois inattendu mais exact …
Plumes en argent, tissages ancestraux du Pérou, pièces de monnaie du monde entier… : tout se mixe pour devenir un nouveau bijou, un nouveau gri-gris porteur de multiples mémoires, qui correspondra vraiment à une seule personne …
Inspirée par la Terre et son énergie, inspirée par les voyages et leurs souvenirs, elle crée des bijoux pour hommes et femmes authentiques et voyageurs.

Tout comme nous nous identifierons à eux, les « Grid » s'identifieront à nous, vivront avec nous, nous accompagneront, et nous définiront aussi, plus tard ...
Le sautoir pièce nous rappellerait les envies d’ailleurs, le bracelet message nous aiderait à en faire passer un, à quelqu’un, ou à nous-même, quelque chose auquel s’identifier.
Pour Ingrid, le bijou est un des seuls accessoires qui peut coller exactement à quelqu’un, qui peut le représenter vraiment, comme un prolongement de l’être.
Projets
Fin 2011, en revenant de France, elle avait envie de plus, « vendre à Paris c’est génial, mais j’avais envie aussi de rencontrer les clients, d’échanger des idées, en fait, j’avais envie de plonger les gens dans mon univers, qu’ils puissent voyager en un instant dans mon monde. »
Elle ouvrit donc sa première boutique à Cusco : L’atelier by Grid, elle y crée ses bijoux et pochettes en cuir, elle y expose ses photos de voyages, et elle y vend aussi quelques belles pièces vintage ; vêtements et sacs … Cela fait d’elle une novatrice à Cusco dans ce style de boutique et dans la mise en valeur de son travail.
« Ici, les gens ne mettent pas assez en valeur leur travail, ils ont un savoir-faire extraordinaire et le bradent … j’essaie de faire passer aussi un message de valorisation de soi-même. »
Elle vend aux locaux et aux touristes, nombreux dans cette région très visitée du Pérou.
Et après de nombreuses demandes de clients du monde entier entrant à l'atelier by GRID, elle a décidé de se lancer sur le net, avec sa boutique sur etsy !
