"I often think of an object starting from an ancestral know-how, from a production technique ... But very quickly comes the time of the workshop. Then began a four-handed work for prototyping, a mixture of contributions, dialogue and respect between craftsmanship and design... Doing with four hands also means understanding many things! ».
Its objects and furniture are designed in a logic of ecodesign and sustainable development valuing know-how, quality of materials and French manufacturing.

Fervente ambassadrice de savoir-faire et d’excellence à la française, de matériaux naturels ainsi que du travail de qualité, Emilie Cazin est attachée à comprendre la technique de production des artisans avec qui elle travaille. Finesse de conception et de production, optimisation, économie de temps et de matière… pour une conception “juste”.
«Je pense souvent un objet en partant d’un savoir-faire ancestral, d’une technique de production… Mais très vite vient le moment de l’atelier. S’engage alors un travail à quatre mains pour le prototypage, mélange d’apports, de dialogue et de respect entre artisanat et design… Faire à quatre mains, c’est aussi comprendre beaucoup de choses ! ».
Ses objets et mobiliers sont pensés dans une logique d’écoconception et de développement durable valorisant savoir-faire, qualité de matériaux et fabrication française.
