History of the Artisanal Factory With Integrity and :) Manager

Since the opening of the shop, it has been a real pleasure to share my passion for sewing and my interest in the environment.
Offering you my "eco-creations" with a limited impact allows me to transmit another vision of the world, and will inspire I hope the most sensitive of you.

Constantly keeping in mind the consequences on the world around us, I try to reduce my waste as much as possible. Very personally, I do it in 2 different ways:
- the quick and dirty: we take fabrics that we no longer use (old sheets, a damaged shirt, etc.), and we cut a little what we want: handkerchiefs, bulk bags, etc. That's it, easy.
- or slow and clean: we buy fabric that counts, that lasts, ethical and respectful of the environment and we apply ourselves to make something useful and pleasant.

So as a self-taught seamstress, I wanted to put my desire for craftsmanship at the service of the environment and our future.
That's why I offer zero waste creations in accordance with my many selection criteria:
- quality and origin of fabrics AND yarn (Bio, GOTS, Ecocert, etc.)
- quality of the sewing: each creation is sewn with care, so that it lasts as long as possible.
- recycled or reused packaging.
For example, orders are sent in envelopes that reuse old staff cards (made in Germany).
Or French tissue paper from FSC forests.
No recycled; I couldn't find these items made at least in Europe and with a guarantee of having a limited impact on the environment. What is the point of buying recycled if it comes from China?
- finally, I like simple and elegant things, and if I appreciate the sparkling of the colorful elements, the sobriety and minimalism leaves me with a more serene mind. Less is more as they say.

I am available to exchange with you, do not hesitate to contact me, whatever your request :).

Frequently asked questions
Custom and custom orders

Fancy a bigger handkerchief? A sleeve in a color not presented? Do not hesitate to contact me! I can of course make a tailor-made order. After your message, I will tell you if this is possible and I will offer you a rate. If it suits you you will receive your order in the following days!On the other hand I am not equipped to make embroidery.

Gift packages

Lack of time and urgent need, or saving shipping costs, whatever your reason, if you need it, I can send a gift directly to its recipient. Tell me a little more in the comments of the order: the name, the occasion, etc... I would then add a small personalized message adapted :).

Care instructions

Tissues and pouches must be unfolded and machine washed. You can also soak them in vinegar water before washing. And even from time to time you can boil them, just to make them really impeccable!Makeup remover squares need to be soaked in vinegar water before the machine is machined to detach them completely. In case of doubt, you can always refer to the product sheet, or send me a message!

Why are there no, or few, promotions?

Because it would be considering that my work may be belittled, or that I have set prices too high.In addition, promotions are basically a commercial tool to push the (on?) consumption. I don't want to push you to buy because there is a 20% promo for Christmas or any other occasion.I tried to be fair between the price I pay for the fabric, and the time I spend sewing, and none of these 2 criteria can be revised downwards at the moment. :)

Why don't I deliver internationally?

If I proposed it at the beginning, I decided to remove international shipping.Simply because it goes against the principles of the local and the saving of resources. I am sure that there are great local initiatives everywhere, let's open our 2 eyes and follow our heart!

Has your article fallen apart? It has been damaged?

Despite all the care I can put into sewing, it happens that things fall apart. I beg you in advance to forgive me, that's also what buying from small creators :).So, in order not to let you down, during the month following your purchase I offer you to repair for free any incidents that may occur, as long as they come from a manufacturing defect of course.Get in touch with me and we will see together if a repair is possible. The return costs are the responsibility of the buyer, but a simple green letter is enough. If the repair is not possible, you will have the choice between returning new items as a replacement, or a refund.

The tissue paper in the packaging is made in France from wood from FSC forests. It is fully compostable. The same goes for the hemp or flax string that accompanies the gift packages. The adhesive is made of recycled paper with solvent-free glue. The envelopes are made from old road maps.To learn more about why I made these choices, I invite you to consult the About section!

Addressing error

Do not hesitate to check your delivery address several times. I am like you, each shipment costs me, and therefore each return as ;).I am therefore sorry, but I no longer return lost shipments due to an addressing error.I need your help, let's be vigilant! :)
