Make my dream come true!

Fleureve Vintage is a french company owned and operated by one-woman, Claire.

I live in South West of France in a famous region called Basque Country, with my husband and our two daughters Fleur and Eve, our 4 cats and our 3 turtles. Closed to my home, the Atlantique Ocean and the forest.

Spending more than 20 years to work in EU and worldwide industrial projects, with computers, technological challenges and over-human pressure, I finally forget to live my live with my family and friends, to take time to see how the world is beautiful and ... became ill.

During this time, I involved in an Art Deco Festival in Biarritz where I find again my passion of costumes, sewing and beauty.
I learnt to sew, knit, crochet, embroider with the women of my family: my mum, my grandma and my great-grandma.
I remember I always sewed or made something for me, my daughters, my neighbors or my dolls! Santa gave me the most beautiful gift when I was 5-6 years old: a little Singer sewing machine. Then creativity adventure started... and never be closed because creativity and imagination are my feeds.

Now I decided to give to my life and the life of our family the right level we merit. And to start, to re-center my professional activities on my passions. I am perfectionist and always search to reach the best level I can. I always be a Vintage girl who spent time in flee-markets (brocante) and charity shops. I think sincerely that giving a new life to second hand objects, is perpetuating the memory and the know-how of the craftsmen and women who made them, and ... it's a way to keep me outside the consumer society! Upcycle, recycle, new words for ancient concepts.

In France, we have a long tradition of fashion, long lines of art craftsmen (and women because I am a feminist as well). I collected original books and patterns, spent time in technical library to promote this specific knowledge.
I like to think that I am a kind of "archaeologist" when I recreate with the same Technics, a dress, a bag, a hat, a golf pant, a child dress.

I am now sewing teacher specialized in vintage and lingerie and develop a strong knowledge and know-how about Art Deco era. So yes, I am a Deco girl.
I love to teach, I love to share my knowledge and tips with men and ladies and to see the pleasure they have to reach the results they had in mind.
Sharing time, knowledge and life of people is the most fantastic awards I could win.

I hope now you will better understand that this little shop includes a high value for me because I put into all my heart and sensitivity in the selection of the vintage jewelries I offer, in the care I take to hand-make a beaded evening bag or to study and develop a new-old sewing patterns.
It is the beginning of a new challenge for me, to be alone to work and decide where and how I want to go!

Now take few minutes to visit my shop (and come again in the future because my shop is under development ;-) and don't forget to enjoy your life with beauty, passion and friendship!

From France, xoxo
