SAHM in search of a creative outlet :)

Hello! Thanks for checking out my shop! My name is Alexis. In my past life ( :) Feels like a lifetime ago) I was a wife and an accountant/auditor. Almost 3 years ago I became a mama and a stay at home mom. Today i am still a SAHM (to the sweetest boy ever, nooch) and an etsy shop owner! Being a stay at home mom has proven its ups and downs for me but I have loved being fortunate enough to spend so much time with my little! I've always wanted a big family as did my hubby. So a little before nooch turned 1 we started trying for another. We always said we wanted children close in age. I quickly became pregnant but turns out was a blighted ovum ( embryo doesn't form) and I miscarried at 14 weeks. I miscarried 2 more times with my last m/c in June 2014. We've been trying to conceive ever since. I've had no choice but to be strong for nooch of course, so I could not let these losses make me crumble. I did become obsessed with getting pregnant though, it was all I could think about, until I found my creative outlet (designing and glittering mugs) and opened this shop in October 2014. As my son gets older and more independent, this shop is exactly what I needed. I've always loved doodling and writing my favorite words/quotes on paper. I also love shiny/sparkly things, who doesn't?! Well, maybe my hubby (lol) who by the way has been a big part of helping me with this shop! If it wasn't for him, my glitter lines would not be straight! Opening this shop has done wonders for me!! It has been just the distraction I needed, and although we have still yet to conceive a second child, my life has been much happier and fulfilled since discovering this outlet.
