Perfect pattern and instructions. So lovely and practical apron. Advise: Take the time to read all the steps. They are well explained. Here is my try: I substituted the binding for French ruffles.

so happy to have this been looking all over but the only copies I could find where super expensive, mostly because they where unopened original physical copies, which I would not want anyways old pattern paper just sounds like a nightmare to me, and usually only for 'misses' not grown plus sized adults!

Sorry it took so long to review. I love the pattern! Great shipping too. I was hoping to have an apron stitched up by now, but alas. I’m sure it will be perfect once I get a chance to actually use the pattern.

Vintage patterns with their original instructions can be…frustrating…. Even for those of us with loads of sewing experience, we can hit a block that we just can’t figure out. I had this pattern for a bit, but had a host of other projects with higher priority. While I did give myself plenty of time under normal conditions, and made a mock-up just to check fit, I didn’t complete the entire pattern early on to check for sanity. Once I gave myself the seemingly ample two weeks to get this thing done, Covid decided to take over the household and completely make a mess of my schedule, and my brain. I was struggling with one section of the pattern, and in desperation, reached out to La Pairie the day before the wedding when this top was to be worn. She was a trooper and cut out the pattern and sent me step by step instructions,
