Great quality, unique and fun! Quick shipping and so special, as the seller has departed, and his grandson is selling what is left. Friendly and helpful seller/grandson!

Repurpose of old tin ceilings

I had alot of old ceiling tin from restoration work and decided to turn it into useful items for the home....All items are made from old tin ceilings reclaimed from salvage yards, dumptsters and where ever I can find them. All the old ceiling tin is cleaned of any toxic paint then re primed and painted with an acrylic paint wipe. ( my secret method.)
The re-painting colors are totally random and used to enhance the pressed design....otherwise they would be in just white.

I am a restoration artist. I have worked for years with old tin ceilings. WE at, old tin stuff, have spent several years selling the various plant an other type of holders at Craft Shows in the Northeast. The shows have always done very well because people have been able to pick through the various tins of size and color and decide how one or more items will work for them. The table was full of many, many different old hand made tins and the buyers had a ball. Needless to say we sold real well in a Craft Show setting. Now that we've got into ETsy type setting we are curious to see if it will work on a one on one picture basis. Time will tell so we'll see how it goes,if not we will go back to the Craft Show way. Thanks for your interest.

Modes de paiement acceptés

Retours et échanges
Refunds are okay with me, it's your cost to send it back, then I will refund your purchase price (minus shipping)...If you find the old tin item is not what you expected, because you only viewed it in a photograph and (not in the real time on a display table) I'll be most happy to exchange it at your cost to send it back to me.(shipping)
Paiement
I accept personal checks and money orders and PayPal
Expédition
I ship 3 to 5 days after I recieve payment. Usually I use USPS.The post office tells me it takes 5 to 7 days for your package to arrive at your location.(USA)
Autres conditions et FAQ
All the colors or rust areas are more or less what you see in the photographs. These are made from old tin and for the most part they have the coloring from the building they were removed from. Sometimes I enhanced the stamped design by wiping additional color over what's there. (Acrylic color).
I roll the top edge of each tin and add in a wood bottom.
