I am inspired by the grace & romance of the Victorian era. Creating for a customer's life event is an honor for me.
My Victorian and French postcard collection are how The Joyful Home was born. I had these beautiful old postcards that I had to do something with. I love that they have heartfelt, handwritten notes or a story. The fact that someone chose a particular postcard over 100 years ago to let a loved one or friend know they were thought of and loved is almost a bygone gesture. I want to preserve that and I simply love beautiful, old things with a story. This is what I want to do here for beloved customers--give them a way to preserve their memories and convey their love, gratitude or friendship with thoughtful keepsakes, gifts and favors.
I create gifts and guest favors to celebrate life events such as weddings and showers. I also create meaningful thank you, get well, cancer and sympathy support gifts. Sometimes people don't know what to say or do so, that's where I can help and gladly accept custom work.

CUSTOM ORDER INFORMATION:
The Joyful Home welcomes Custom Orders for pillows, sachets, and other sewn or crafted items. If you don't see it in the shop, please ask.
HOW TO PLACE A CUSTOM ORDER:
Please click the Request Custom Order button on the shop's home page to request Custom Orders. Provide a clear description of what you would like and DATE you need your order by. I will get back with you promptly and will do my very best to fulfill your heart's desire. This may require several emails as we answer questions for each other to establish what you would like. A custom order listing will be created for you and sent to your Etsy email account via Etsy notification.
Payment is required before custom orders are processed.
Care instructions
ABOUT The Joyful Home's Sachets:
All sachets are filled entirely with French Lavender unless otherwise requested or stated in descriptions. Each sachet is filled right before shipping so your sachets are fresh. The lavender scent lasts for about 2+ years. To re-activate the scent, gently knead/massage your sachets.
Please KEEP SACHETS DRY. DO NOT EXPOSE TO MOISTURE.
The Joyful Home's sachets are thoughtfully sewn and crafted by the owner Kimberly.
CARE: Keep sachets dry. Do NOT wash lavender-filled sachets to preserve the lavender.
Wholesale availability
WHOLESALE ORDERS ARE ACCEPTED
TheJoyfulHome is an Etsy-approved wholesaler. Select items from the TheJoyfulHome's are available for wholesale to retailers for quantities of 25 or more with Minimum Order Requirements. Buyers must have a brick and mortar location for TheJoyfulHome's products. There are exceptions to this rule: for example, if you have a specialty subscription gift service with a theme then I will consider a wholesale relationship.
You may CUSTOMIZE your wholesale purchases with your business or event logo, dates...You provide the artwork per specifications.
Discounts/coupons are not applicable to wholesale priced items. A line sheet is available by request for approved buyers.

All purchases at TheJoyfulHome are ready for giving or to keep!
TheJoyfulHome takes great pride in wrapping up your purchases and making them pretty. It's all in the details. Sachets are wrapped in our signature lavender bud tissue and ribbons, tucked into a clear gift bag and topped off with TheJoyfulHome's tag and ribbon. All shipping boxes are new and lined with tissue.
