¡Hola! Mi nombre es Francisca y soy la pequeña soñadora detrás de la pequeña tienda de arte de tortugas. Crear y compartir mi arte con el mundo siempre ha sido un gran sueño para mí y esta pequeña tienda es el comienzo de mi viaje para llegar allí.
Impresiones de arte, joyas, pegatinas, minipinturas, esculturas y cualquier otro pasatiempo que decida elegir en un día aleatorio, es lo que constituye la obra de arte disponible para la venta en mi tienda. En mi obra de arte me encanta incorporar la naturaleza y la ciencia en todo su esplendor y espero crear ilustraciones científicas en el futuro para educar sobre diversos temas. También me gusta mucho hacer un montón de cositas lindas. El sueño es algún día tener una tienda propia llena de arte y plantas y tortugas y cosas y tal vez algunos gatos. ... sea lo que sea, sé que comienza aquí y comienza contigo, ¡así que gracias por estar aquí!
Cuéntame un poco sobre mí, puedes preguntar. Soy un canadiense portugués de 21 años que vive en Ontario, Canadá. Tengo una gran pasión por el arte, la biología y las bromas y el humor que a veces solo me parecen divertidos. Oh, y realmente amo las tortugas :)
Otra parte muy real de mi historia es ser un creador discapacitado. Tengo el Síndrome de Ehlers Danlos hipermóvil (hEDS), que es un trastorno del tejido conectivo que afecta a todos los sistemas de mi cuerpo. Para hacer corta una explicación muy larga, tengo dolor crónico, fatiga crónica y debilidad general en todo mi cuerpo (entre muchos otros síntomas muy divertidos...). Encontrar un trabajo o cualquier fuente de ingresos en mi condición es bastante difícil. Me estrujé el cerebro durante mucho tiempo y no se me ocurrió nada que se ajustara a mi discapacidad y mis necesidades diarias (mientras también estudiaba biología en la universidad)... ¡hasta que me di cuenta de que podía crear algo propio! Así que hice mi pequeña tienda de arte de tortugas. ¡ta pa! todo solucionado! multimillonario instantáneo! ... bueno, una chica puede soñar de todos modos. Bromas aparte, esto es algo que me brinda la capacidad de trabajar dentro de mis habilidades y estoy emocionado y esperanzado de ver a dónde va esta pequeña tienda. ¡Espero que me acompañes en el viaje!

Hi! My name is Francisca and I am the little dreamer behind tiny turtle art shop. Creating and sharing my art with the world has always been a big dream of mine and this little shop is the start of my journey to get there.
Art prints, jewelry, stickers, mini paintings, sculptures, and any other hobby I decide to pick up on a random day, is what constitutes the artwork available for sale in my shop. In my artwork I love to incorporate nature and science in all its glory and hope to create scientific illustrations in the future to educate on various topics. I also really like to make lots of little cute things. The dream is to someday have a brick and mortar shop of my own filled with art and plants and turtles and things and maybe some cats? ... whatever it is I know it starts here and it starts with you, so thanks for being here!
Tell me a little about myself you may ask? I am a 21 year old Portuguese Canadian living in Ontario Canada. I have a strong passion for art, biology and jokes and humor that sometimes only I find amusing. Oh, and I kinda really love turtles :)
Another very real part of my story is being a disabled creator. I have hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (hEDS) which is a connective tissue disorder that effects all systems in my body. To make a very long explanation short, I have chronic pain, chronic fatigue and general weakness in my whole body (among many other very fun symptoms...). Finding a job or any source of income in my condition is pretty hard. I wracked my brain for a long while and came up with nothing that would fit my disability and daily needs (while also pursuing a degree in biology at university) ... until I realized I could create something of my own! So I made my tiny turtle art shop. ta da! all solved! instant billionaire! ... welp a girl can dream anyways. All jokes aside this is something that provides me with the ability to work within my abilities and I am excited and hopeful to see where this little shop goes. I hope you come along for the journey!
