How can we help you?

Funding for Team Events

Looking for ways to fund your event or team project? We have some tips to get you started.

Crowdsourcing

Crowd-sourced funding can help raise money with a chance to share your project with the community. We've seen teams be successful on a number of platforms.

Often, these can turn a small goal into a much larger opportunity!

Examples:

Sponsorship

Consider developing sponsorship packages to partner with local businesses.

  • Start by making list of goals that are in line with your team’s mission.

  • Next, bring it together with a clear mission statement about who you are and what your team strives for. This is your opportunity to let potential sponsors know about your team’s ethos, the reach of your project or event (for example, how many online or or event attendees will see it), and how many members are participating. This will help the businesses decide if an investment in you aligns with their goals.

  • Next, find local businesses that are in line with your team’s spirit and ethos. Keep a list and contact them with plenty of time to make plans. Be sure to have a few sponsorship packages for the potential sponsorships to choose from.

Note: Keep in mind you will be pitching your event, and the more you have in common with a potential sponsor, the better chance at making a connection.
