  • To flag a shop, use the Report this shop to Etsy link on any shop homepage.

  • As a shop owner, to flag a review or a photograph within a review, find the review and click Report this review.
    • The ability to flag a review expires 60 days after the review was left or edited. Learn more.

Flagging and privacy

Flagging is a confidential process. The reported member will not know who flagged them.

Additionally, Etsy's investigation will be handled privately. You will not receive a personal response to your flagging message.

Etsy's role

In some cases, Etsy’s investigation will reveal that the item, shop, or review is in fact in compliance with Etsy’s policies. In cases like these, no action will be taken.

In other cases, Etsy will work with a member privately to remedy any issues raised by flagging.

Note: Please do not flag a single violation multiple times or discuss an item you have flagged in any of Etsy’s community spaces.

Intellectual property matters

Flagging helps us maintain accuracy and transparency in the marketplace. However, it should not be used for intellectual property matters.

For intellectual property concerns, please see Etsy's Intellectual Property Policy.
