Filing a Claim for Late Delivery, Loss, or Damage with Canada Post

Claims for Coverage purchased on Etsy are processed by our Canadian postage provider, Canada Post.

For lost parcels, you may file a claim as soon as the estimated or guaranteed delivery date has passed. Claims for damaged or missing items can be filed immediately.

Claims must be filed no later than 90 days from the shipment date.

What next?

The whole process is handled entirely by Canada Post. They will request some additional documents to support your claim, including your shipping label receipt and a receipt for the order.

What if my package is delivered after its guaranteed delivery date?

If your package is delivered after its guaranteed delivery date or your package has not arrived at its destination, you may file a shipping refund claim here. This claim must be submitted within 30 days of the guaranteed delivery date for domestic shipments.
