Determining Accurate Shipping Costs

If you are a US or Canada-based seller, you can determine accurate shipping costs for your packages. At this time, these shipping cost tools are limited to US and Canada-based sellers, as well as USPS and Canada Post shipping rates.

Sellers in the US can also use Calculated Shipping.

Visit the Price Your Postage page for USPS.

You can also get to the Price Your Postage page when adding or editing a listing or shipping profile.

1.) Select I'll edit fixed costs manually next to Shipping costs.

2.) Click Estimate shipping costs at the bottom right of the Fixed shipping costs box.

We'll show available USPS mail classes, rates, transit times, and any additional services available for each mail class.

You can also see how much the cost of shipping would be from a USPS retail counter compared to Etsy’s rates for USPS Shipping Labels.

Using Price Your Shipping for Canada-based sellers

Canadian sellers can access Price Your Shipping by visiting the Price Your Shipping page for Canada Post.

You can also use Price Your Shipping when adding or editing a listing or shipping profile.

Click Estimate shipping costs at the bottom right of the Fixed shipping costs box.

We'll show available Canada Post shipping services, rates, transit times, and any additional services available for each mail class. You can see a complete breakdown of costs, including taxes, etc., by selecting Show Detailed Costs.

You can also see the cost of shipping a package from a Canada Post retail counter compared to using the rates offered when purchasing Canada Post Shipping Labels on Etsy.
