Description
The Billie Jeans have two fit options: skinny and slim. Both options are fairly close fitting and require stretch denim or a comparable fabric so the kids can still move around. They also include seven different lengths: shorts, mid-thigh, above the knee shorts (a very popular option for girls who like longer shorts!), below the knee shorts, capris or mid-calf, ankle length, and cuffed. They feature the traditional five-pocket styling, a working fly (with very easy instructions!), an adjustable waist with buttonhole elastic, and I've included tips for distressing denim.
I worked with a lot of cloth diaper mommas to make this pattern CD friendly -the instructions include a mini-tutorial on how to modify the rise to cover those fluffy bums!
This pattern comes in sizes 12 months to 14 years and is perfect for an intermediate sewist or for an adventurous beginner looking to expand their skill set. It includes step-by-step instructions with detailed illustrations and full size pattern pieces. The pattern pieces are in layers so you can save ink by printing just the size you need. The pattern also features no-trim pages sized for both US printers and A4 paper. Please see the last picture in this listing for the size chart, requirements, and fabric recommendations.

MisRox Sep 25, 20182 out of 5 starsThis was a purchase for a pattern. I was having trouble with the pattern not lining up. I messaged the seller twice for help with no response what so ever. At this point I've just shelved the project for now. I'm sure the pattern is fine, but what good is it if I have a question and get no response.
