Description

This e-book is my 2nd tutorial of botanical imprints making (also known as eco-printing or contact printing) to enhance bounty of nature with natural resources, leaves, buds, roots, barks, stems etc. from printing the exquisite silk, wool, cotton, linen to printing on upcycled Tee cotton scraps and paper printing.

With my clear step-by-step illustration of 36 pages and more than 200 images of process and samples, I show how to make the 3 simple different mordants (iron, alum and soy milk) using natural dyeing techniques to make the fabulous effects. You can create unique fabric art, design your textile patterns to make garments. No matter a soft silk scarf, a wall hanging of wool or cotton, a piece of paper tag or to bind an art journal with the prints with printed cover is fun to play with natural resources.

Features of the tutorial :
~ Simple mordant making apply on silk, wool, cotton, linen and paper
~ Control clear prints, background shades or outlines of plants
~ Make mirror prints on two different fabrics in one go

Botanical printing is very interesting. Result varies from areas depends on the plants used. Water, weather and soil all make different. Each time you make it you’ll have unique piece of shades and patterns of local colours which will never be exactly duplicated.

Care of the imprinted fabric is easy with instruction.

You will receive your product as a PDF attachment instantly after payment received. No shipping costs! This is a digital product and non refundable once you received.

The tutorial is intended for personal use. Duplication is prohibited. Using photographs from the tutorial is prohibited for further publication. All rights reserved @2017 TerLing Creations.
