About
Affordable Luxury
I created La Atelier Co to pursue my love for fragrances and handicrafts. I started making my own soy wax scented candles after realising how challenging it was to find ones that were both affordable and of high quality. Shortly after, I started exploring other types of aromatic goods such as wax sachets and wax melts.
The idea of starting La Atelier Co happened when I made a large batch of candles as favours for my sister's wedding, It was a great success and I felt a sense of joy seeing all the guests admire something that I had created - from the packaging to the scent of the candle - all from my tiny kitchen. It was then, I decided to start my own shop on Etsy as I wanted to continue having more people enjoy my products.
As the only member in the business, each and every item is created with the utmost care and attention to every detail from the design to the packaging. The products are hand-poured/created in small batches which guarantees your purchase to be one-of-a-kind.
This is just the beginning of my story as I attempt to turn a hobby into something so much more. Please come back time and time again, as I will be working hard to create a variety of products of different scents and designs!

Frequently asked questions
LOST/STOLEN/DELAYED ORDERS
Please verify that your shipping address is correct before placing your order. If the order has been entered with an incorrect address, the buyer is responsible for additional postage required for the item to be resent.
If there is any problem with your shipment, please contact your local post office and provide them with the tracking number if you had chosen to register your package.
La Atelier Co is not responsible for any stolen packages, lost items or errors made by the Post Office - even if the item was sent as a registered package.
PACKAGING
All items will be carefully packaged in kraft boxes with shredded filling and plastic protector. The box will also be wrapped in bubble wrapping paper to ensure protection.
RETURN POLICY
If you would like to return your product, kindly contact me within 14 days of delivery. Items can be refunded if they are returned in their original condition. Custom orders are not returnable or exchangeable. Please note that the buyer is responsible for all shipping costs to return the item(s) as well as original shipping.
GIFTING
All our items are beautifully (and carefully) packaged in kraft boxes and ready for gifting. If you wish for your purchase to be sent as a gift, simply fill in the recipient's address in the shipping section. Items sent as a gift will include a gift label (only one address and gift label per order). Please let us know in the "Comments to Seller" section what names to include on the gift label i.e. "To/From. Kindly include your name in the comment section as we will not be able to see your billing address.
PRODUCT VARIATION
All the items are handmade to order using natural materials such as dried flowers. As such, please allow for slight variations in the items. However, please be reassured that I do my best to ensure that your item arrives as closely represented in the photo and as described in the item description.
CUSTOM FEES
Please note that the buyer is responsible for the payment of any additional customs fees and/or tariffs.
LARGE ORDER FOR EVENTS AND FUNCTIONS
Our products make unique and ideal gifts/favors for different events such as baby showers, weddings and other functions. All the products can be customised to include names or other words you wish to include on the packaging. Large orders are welcomed and we are happy to assist! However, as a small business and to keep our materials fresh, we do not keep a lot of raw materials on hand. As such, depending on the size of the order, please allow between 1 - 1.5 months of processing time. Feel free to get in touch for a quotation!
FRAGRANCE OILS
High quality natural fragrance oils are used for our wax sachets, wax melts and candles. Our products are made with the recommended amount of fragrance oil by the suppliers.
Kindly note that the preference of scent is subjective but we do try our best to provide a wide selection of oils. The strength of the scent also varies depending on the fragrance oil, but most will fill a small room with scent, not a large open area. We use soy wax for all our items which is a natural material that provides many great benefits. However, due to its nature it cannot hold too much fragrance oil. If you are having a hard time smelling the fragrance, simply put the product in a smaller room or shut the door for awhile to re-expose yourself to the scent.
