Ciao, sono il creatore di N Lab Works, un piccolo laboratorio a conduzione familiare in Giappone.
Possiedo e guido una Morris Mini Cooper S Mk1, e tutto ciò che produciamo parte da questa stessa prospettiva: quella di chi vive quotidianamente con una Mini classica, non di chi progetta componenti basandosi su una scheda tecnica.
Progettiamo e stampiamo in 3D due tipi di oggetti:
- Accessori pratici per i possessori di Mini Classic: consolle portaoggetti, portabicchieri e piccoli accessori per interni, progettati per essere montati senza forature e per resistere all'uso quotidiano.
- Modellini in scala 1:43 e kit fai-da-te: delle stesse auto che amiamo, realizzati con la stessa attenzione ai dettagli.
È una vera e propria attività a conduzione familiare: i pezzi vengono progettati e ingegnerizzati da me, rifiniti a mano da mio padre e l'officina è gestita da mia madre. Ogni pezzo che esce dalla nostra officina è passato attraverso le mani di tutti e tre.
Non siamo una fabbrica. Ogni articolo è realizzato in piccoli lotti, quindi potreste notare leggere linee di stratificazione e piccole variazioni artigianali tipiche della vera stampa 3D: noi crediamo che questo faccia parte del fascino, non sia un difetto.

Hi, I'm the maker behind N Lab Works — a small, family-run workshop in Japan.
I own and drive a Mk1 Morris Mini Cooper S, and everything we make starts from that same seat: as someone who actually lives with a Classic Mini every day, not just someone designing parts from a spec sheet.
We design and 3D-print two kinds of things:
- Practical parts for Classic Mini owners — storage consoles, drink holders, and small interior accessories, designed to fit without drilling and to hold up to real daily use.
- 1:43 scale models and DIY kits — for the same cars we love, built with the same attention to detail.
It's a true family operation: parts are designed and engineered by me, hand-finished by my father, and the shop itself is run by my mother. Every piece that leaves our workshop has passed through all three of us.
We're not a factory. Each item is made in small batches, so you may notice the light layer lines and small handmade variations that come with real 3D printing — we think that's part of the charm, not a flaw.
