Hi, I'm Tahsin, and I'm the one person behind ZeroStackStudio.

It started with a simple frustration. Every good tracker for the things that actually matter - a health journey, a family's schedule, a small business, a homestead - wanted a monthly subscription, an account, and a copy of my data on someone else's server. I kept renting tools I never owned, and losing them the moment I stopped paying.

So I built the opposite. Every product here is a complete app in a single HTML file. You download it, double-click it, and it opens in the browser you already have - Windows, Mac, iPad, Android. Nothing to install, nothing to sign up for, nothing to renew. Everything you type stays on your own device, and a one-click backup lets you move it wherever you like.

"Zero stack" is the idea behind the name: no server, no database, no cloud - zero infrastructure between you and your data. What's left is a fast, private tool with real dashboards, charts and printable reports that keeps working long after a subscription would have lapsed.

I test every app on a clean machine before I list it. Each one comes with a one-page Quick Start, a full guide, and free updates for life - just re-download from your Etsy purchases page. If something doesn't work the way you expect, send me a message. A real person reads it, and if it's a bug I'll fix it and post an update.

Frequently asked questions

How do I open the app after I download it?

Download the ZIP from your Etsy Purchases page, unzip it, and double-click index.html. It opens in the browser you already have (Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox) on Windows, Mac, iPad or Android. Nothing to install, no account, no internet needed after download. Every listing also includes a one-page Quick-Start.pdf and a full README with screenshots.

Where is my data stored? Is it private?

Everything you enter is saved inside your browser on your own device. There is no server, no account, no analytics and no tracking, so the app cannot send your data anywhere. Because of that you are the backup: use Settings > Export backup (JSON) now and then, and Import backup to restore or move to a new computer. Clearing your browser's site data will erase the app's data, so keep a recent backup.

Does it work on my phone or iPad?

Yes. Save the unzipped folder to the Files app (iPhone/iPad) or your file manager (Android), tap index.html and it opens in Safari or Chrome. Add it to your home screen for an app-like icon. The layout is built for laptop and tablet first, and data does not sync between devices - export a backup on one and import it on the other.

Are updates free? How do I get them?

Yes, every update is free for life. When a new version is posted, simply re-download the ZIP from your Etsy Purchases page. Your data lives in your browser, not in the file, so replacing index.html keeps everything you have entered. To be safe, export a backup first.

What if something doesn't work, or I need a refund?

Message the shop and describe what you see (device, browser, and what happened). Most issues are solved within a day, and if there is a real bug we fix it and post an update. Because these are instant digital downloads, Etsy does not allow returns once the file has been delivered - but if a product genuinely does not work for you and we cannot fix it, reach out and we will make it right.
