I can make a portrait of you, your family member or your pets! Going back in time when portraits used to be the way people kept memories and express power. Nowadays portraits can be seen as a way to keep something or someone really close to your heart and soul!
All portraits are painted in Oil Colour on cotton canvas. They are unique and signed by me.
I can paint in different sizes of canvas, this will vary the price.
When submitting the order please contact me in order to send a photo reference and agree on a date for the completion of the work. Please keep in mind that Oil Colour may take up to a month to be completely dry and be possible to ship them safely. I will advise this when the painting is finished.
Note that I will do my best to accomplish your requests within my style. No returns are accepted.

About the artist:
I’m Sam, Venetian by birth, adopted by Ireland. I am a visual artist and freelance illustrator. I get inspired by the Irish countryside, animals and landscapes. I also focus on portraits and custom pieces.
My Main medium is Oil Color with which I could develop my own personal style.
I have been featured in the Irish Independent, in Totally Dublin Magazine, on RTÉ among others and my works are part of several collections and art galleries in Ireland (such as the People's Art, the Incognito art Project etc) and abroad.

Sam recently accepted the commission, for an original Friesian Cow painted in oils, as a 60th Birthday gift to me from my girlfriends. He kept in touch with me all through the process to make sure I was happy, which I really appreciated. The painting arrived very well packaged and is even more stunning than I expected! Yesterday we hung her and I’m absolutely thrilled😍 The colours and textures are just beautiful and capture her character fantastically well. I can not put in to words just how much JOY I get in my heart when ever I pass by this sweet little paining in my home. This amazing Irish artist captured the flight of the honey bee perfectly. It reminds me of when I was a little girl & enjoyed watching bees flying from flower to hive. The blue is a beautiful bright, peaceful blue. So grateful.
