If you’re intrigued by felted accessories... If you’d like to learn how to wet felt, but you don’t know where to start... You’ll love my video courses on felting techniques for beginners.
In this listing, I offer you Lesson 1: basics of wet felting on the example of jewelry elements. This lesson is comprised of 4 video tutorials with subtitles in English.
With this lesson, you will learn how to felt perfectly round balls without wrinkles or crevices as well as felted ropes.
Jewelry elements are a really good starting point for learning how to felt, even if you won’t wear the jewelry yourself. A slight modification, and you can felt your ball into a different shape such as disc, oval or spindle (which I will also teach you in this lesson). With such skills, you will be able to create a unique button or a center for a felted flower brooch (flowers will be the subject of further lessons – add my shop to favorites and you definitely won’t miss it). Maybe you’ll get so into felting balls that you will start making rugs or pictures... who knows?
Another skill I will teach you in this lesson is making a wet felted rope. They are mostly associated with felted necklaces, but ropes are also useful as flower stems or stamens (the technique is the same, the only difference is the size), bag handles or fringe for your scarf (further, more advanced lessons will be going back to these elements, so it’s worth practicing them already at this point).
🎁In a BONUS video, I will show you how to felt a rope with gradient color transitions.
If you already know how to wet felt, but you have problems with crevices forming on balls or ropes, this is also a lesson for you.

👉how to felt perfect, smooth balls with no wrinkles

My name is Justyna Wróbel-Mikołajczyk. I have been creating felted products and teaching felting for over 12 years. I co-authored four publications from the series The Magic of Felting (published in Polish). In my lessons, I show and present clearly and in detail the techniques of laying out your wool and felting. I talk about the most frequent mistakes and answer frequently asked questions (and after 12 years of conducting workshops, I’ve collected quite a number of them).
In this listing, I’m inviting you to take part in Lesson 1, but I’m already preparing other, more advanced courses. Add my shop to favorites to make sure not to miss them!
