Wood goblet turned from Irish beech with two captive rings. The goblet also has lapis lazuli inserted around the base and lapis lazuli cabochon beads around the center stem.
The goblet is 18 cm tall and 7 cm diameter and comes in the handmade presentation box shown with a card telling of the Irish tradition of captive rings.
The goblet is finished with several coats of varnish and beeswax polish.
The goblet would hold a glas of celebratory wine but red wine could stain the wood.
A lovely gift.

These worked perfectly as family gifts for all our children (and ourselves!) this Christmas. Colin promptly made five for us, packed them well and shipped in plenty of time for wrapping. The reclaimed teak and artful care of construction make them special.
