The is an easy pattern for you to make something you can use, at the same time practising and improving your crochet skills.

Even though the text is more detailed than standard patterns, this pattern is still written so you can begin to learn to use other more complicated, normally notated patterns in the future.

This pattern is available in both US and UK versions, as the crochet terms used are different in the different regions. Please be sure to select the correct version.

The design uses a 5.5mm or I/9 crochet hook and Worsted weight yarn (in UK this is Aran weight yarn). You can use a lighter/thinner yarn and a smaller hook, but the completed cloth will be smaller - full info in pattern.
