Materials

sea pottery, silver plated wire, crochet chain by Huggleknits, cotton fibre, weathered porcelain, plastic button

Seascape pendant features a gorgeous piece of Irish sea pottery I found on a local beach in Dublin. The faded blue and red pattern against the creamy background looks like a view of the ocean from the beach.

The shard is beautifully buffed and leached so must have been rolling in the waves a long time. I wonder whose table it once graced?

I wrapped it in silver plate with a sailboat in mind. By chance it also turned out like an 'A' so may be perfect for someone with that initial.

The necklace is a rich cobalt blue, cotton crochet chain made by Huggleknits. It is hypoallergenic, durable and easy to wash and closes with a pretty flower button.

Sail away with this OOAK, Irish beach treasure pendant.

DIMENSIONS:

Delivery policies

Parcels are mostly dispatched within 24 hours, 48 at the latest. Shipping time from Ireland beyond Europe is generally 5 to 8 working days. Occasionally, parcels get held up at customs for longer times so please allow for this. Extraordinary delays at Customs are rare, but may occur, especially to the UK or in November/December, to any destination.

For certain pieces and destinations I offer registered post only. Other items I entrust to the regular Irish postal service from An Post, to keep the cost down for the buyer. This is an excellent service and generally very fast if Customs don't delay matters.

If you wish to upgrade to registered post, simply use the contact button and request it, preferably prior to purchase.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
If your country is not specified in the shipping info, please feel free to contact me. Shipping to some European countries may be cheaper than initially stated for certain items. Unusual delays at international Customs are rare, but beyond my control.

PACKING
I present items nicely for gift giving in pouches or boxes. To avoid dents in transit, often the gift box will be a flat-packed pillow shape. Mailing this way also reduces the package size and therefore, the cost of shipping for the customer. Simply puff the box out, fold over the ends and pop the item in its pouch inside for presentation.

ANY OTHER TAXES OR DUTIES
Any possible extra customs/duties in your own country are, as is usual but unfortunately, the responsibility of the buyer, should they arise.

Payments

Secure options
Accepts Etsy Gift Cards and Etsy Credits
Etsy keeps your payment information secure. Etsy shops never receive your credit card information.
PAYPAL
You can pay with your credit card via Paypal even if you don't have a Paypal Account. It's safe and easy! Paypal also provides the facility to pay by e-cheque but unfortunately, it does delay shipping of your item while I wait for the cheque to clear.

I now also offer DIRECT CHECKOUT as a payment option so you can use your credit or debit card without leaving the Etsy site.

Etsy gift cards are accepted.
