Highlights
This patchwork kit was sewn by hand and by machine: each hexagon was made by hand then they were sewn together to form flowers, then the quilting was done with the sewing machine as well as the assembly of the kit.
The 2 sides of the kit are different (not the same hexagon fabrics).
The fabrics for the hexagons are scraps from Liberty by Cacharel, they date from the late 80s and early 90s. They are sewn on a plain black fabric. The pencil case is lined with a very pretty black and white gingham fabric. All fabrics are cotton. Black zipper.
Dimensions 32 x 20 cm, thickness of the bottom of the case 6 cm.
This bag is large enough to serve as a toiletry bag or makeup bag, but it can also be used as a clutch.
This kit is unique due to the rarity of the hexagon fabrics and its original assembly.
