Description

Facing North ~ In collaboration with Ailbiona McLochlainn from LBhandknits, I am delighted to introduce Facing North - a place-specific collection of simple patterns for chunky yarns.

Designed with our Stockholm and compatible with a variety of chunky-weight (100m/ 100g) yarns, Facing North features four unique garment patterns to keep you cozy in the starkest of winter climates. Also included are four charming accessory projects, each calling for only a single skein of yarn. All designs are seamless, quick to knit, suitable for advanced beginners, and engaging enough to appeal to experienced knitters. Presented in a beautifully illustrated book, the collection includes schematics, charts, and detailed written instructions for each pattern, as well as narratives about the places and events that inspired the designs.

PRE-ORDERS & OTHER INFO

Facing North will be published as an e-book on Ravelry, with individual patterns going live starting on the 4th of October. We are also excited to offer a very limited number of beautifully printed paper books, which will be unveiled at the Knitting & Stitching Show in Dublin.
Those who order the collection will receive download codes via email as the patterns go live on Ravelry, then the complete book once it is published.
Orders for the paper books will be dispatched after the 4th of November.

The patterns will also be available on an individual basis, with garment patterns priced at €5.50-€6.00 each, and accessory patterns at €3.00-4.00 each.

The collection constitutes a significant savings. And pre-ordering secures you a further reduction, at the same time supporting us by helping cover our printing and tech-editing costs.

Orders for the paper books will be dispatched after the 4th of October, and these orders will likewise receive download codes for the digital version when the patterns are published (in other words, the paper book includes access to the digital version).
