Soon after I moved to my beloved Vermont, I met my friend Karen. Karen was a quilter. I’d sewn a lot and I’d always wanted to learn to quilt. Karen was exuberant and generous in sharing her expertise. She was making art quilts. When I met her she was working on a beautiful, soulful piece depicting a bayou in her native Louisiana. I was hooked. I needed to learn all about this new art form.
Over the years I have experimented. I find I like simple designs with beautiful details. My products are useful, everyday items made by hand with great care. I start with high-quality materials and create items that are light, soft, and sturdy. Lovely to look at, a pleasure to hold, my products will bring a little bit of luxury into your everyday world.
