StrungByColor was born out of a love for giving old things new life. Created for women of all ages (babies, too!), StrungByColor accessories are made from old shirts, skirts, pillow cases, sheets, napkins and adorned with repurposed jewels, buttons and other embellishments. StrungByColor gives each wearer the chance to go glam and green at the same time!
All fabric used is second hand: old shirts, skirts, pillow cases, cloth napkins...you name it. My rule of thumb for my main material is: no buying new. The only new parts to anything I sell is the hardware: chains, clasps and fasteners. Even the fabric-covered bangles are second hand!
All of my packaging is re-used as well, so when you place an order and receive your goodies...they will be creatively dressed in unique gift wrap. Everything from an old pillow sack to calendar-made envelopes to recycled gift boxes tied with shreds of faded oxfords.
