Announcement    These are mad times but I hope we can stay positive and find strength and motivation to go through it. I decided to make a sale for those who want to support my art and also cheer themselves up a bit. Note that due to COVID-19 I go to the post only once a week. Also there might be some delays with international shipping etc.
Stay safe and compassionate xx

Thank you for visiting my shop! I really appreciate it. So here is a part I talk a little bit about myself ;).
I love drawing since I remember and recently started to explore printmaking by making linocut prints and cards. I find the act of drawing, either for its own sake or as a project for linocut, very contemplative. I find inspiration in books, mythologies, my black sense of humor. I design an image and transfer it on lino using carbon paper. I often make the drawing more visible using Sharpie or any black marker and white acrylic pen.
When my lino is eventually cut I ink it and press it through my Xcut XPress. It prints images that fit on A4 page.
For bigger projects I use a wooden spoon (oh, yes, quite old school and good workout ). It actually is very nice technique and gives variation of intensity of colour due to different pressure made with a spoon.

I love the expressive power of black& white imagery and bold colours and patterns. I am still exploring how versatile linocut printmaking is.

Note: I put variations as separate listings since I often make only small number of coloured alternatives.

If you have special occasion or would like to have custom made print or card, you can send me a message. I like new challenges :).

Drawing and printing is my mindfulness

I love being creative and making things. Sometimes I can become overly productive as making prints and drawing give me mindful flaw. Therefore, I decided to set up Etsy shop to share my works with others hoping that they will like them and would like to have some of them on their wall :).

I find a real joy when looking how creative we are (especially when I see all these amazing things on Etsy or photos on Instagram!) and try to support other artists and craftsmans by buying their work.

If you like to have custom made print or drawing for special occasion don't hesitate to ask as I love this kind of challenge.
