Wer nutzt das Malen noch zum Stressabbau und für ein wenig Entspannung?
Who else uses coloring for stress relief and a little relaxation?
Ich meine, ich habe jahrelang Immobilien verkauft. Es war so stressig, rund um die Uhr. Ein Job, bei dem man nie wusste, ob man etwas verkaufen würde oder nicht. Er hat mir buchstäblich die Lebenskraft ausgesaugt. Als ich dieses Jahr in Rente ging, wusste ich nicht, was ich machen wollte – ich bin eine 63-jährige Großmutter, wer stellt mich ein? Ich hatte die verrückte Idee, ein Malbuch für meine Enkelinnen zu machen. Ich wusste nicht, wo ich anfangen sollte. Ich bin auf ChatGPT gegangen und habe angefangen, Fragen zu stellen. Ich habe mir Videos von anderen Leuten angesehen, die Bücher gemacht haben. Ich habe mit Karussellpferden angefangen (da ich ein Pferdeliebhaber bin) und die Kunst so weit verfeinert, dass ich sie schön fand und bin ausgeflippt. Innerhalb einer Woche hatte ich 30 Illustrationen. Ich habe mir weitere Videos angesehen und Canva heruntergeladen, um alles zusammenzusetzen. Ich habe den Prozess geliebt! Es war äußerst befriedigend, das fertige Produkt zu haben, und ich habe sofort mit dem nächsten Buch angefangen, Be Inspired. Bei jedem Buch habe ich mich gefragt, was meine Mädchen ausmalen sollen. Was sollen sie aus jedem Buch mitnehmen? Nicht nur, um Spaß zu haben, sondern auch, um etwas zu lernen, also begann ich mit „Mythical Creatures“ und begann, zu jeder Illustration eine kurze Beschreibung hinzuzufügen. Ein paar Monate später hatte ich neun Bücher geschrieben und begann, die Bücher mit Beschreibungen in verschiedene Sprachen zu übersetzen – Spanisch, Chinesisch, Hindi. Es werden noch mehr folgen. Ich liebe den kreativen Prozess, nachdem ich alles so weit gelernt/verfeinert/neu gestaltet/neu gestaltet habe, dass ich damit sehr vertraut bin. Dann kam das „Also, ich habe diese Bücher, lasst sie uns verkaufen, wo immer es geht“, also Etsy, Amazon, Lulu, ich habe eine Website erstellt und bin auf jedes Portal gegangen, das ich finden konnte. Wer auch immer es so weit geschafft hat, dem gratuliere ich und hoffe, dass Sie einen Blick auf einige meiner Kreationen werfen und vielleicht jemandem in Ihrem Leben ein Geschenk machen, der Kunst und Malen liebt. Lustigerweise habe ich gerade angefangen, sie selbst auszumalen, um einige fertige Produkte auf Etsy zu haben, und wow! Ich liebe es, sie auszumalen. Ich habe seit über 30 Jahren kein Malbuch mehr ausgemalt, und es ist wirklich eine TOLLE Möglichkeit, sich zu entspannen und mit der kreativen Ader in uns allen in Kontakt zu kommen. I mean, I sold real estate for years. it was so stressful, 24/7. A job you never knew if you were going to make the sale or not. It literally sucked the life out of me. When I retired this year, I had no idea what I wanted to do- I'm a 63 year old grandmother, who's going to hire me? I had a crazy idea to make a coloring book for my granddaughters. I had no idea where to start. I hopped on ChatGPT and started asking questions. I watched videos of other people making books. I started with Carousel Horses (since I am a horse lover) and refined the art to one I thought was beautiful and went crazy. within a week I had 30 illustrations. watched more videos and downloaded Canva to put it all together. I loved the process! it was extremely satisfying to have the finished product and I promptly began the next book, Be Inspired. Each book I thought to myself, what would I want my girls to color? what do I want them to get out of each book? not only to have fun, but to also learn so I began Mythical Creatures and started adding a little description for each illustration. Fast Forward a few months and I had created 9 books, and began also translating the ones with discription to different languages- Spanish.Chinese. Hindi. There will be more. I thoroughly love the creative process now that I've learned/refined/re-imaged/re-everything to the point where I'm very comfortable with the process. Then came the "well I have these books, lets sell them wherever possible so Etsy,Amazon,Lulu, created a website, I went on any portal I could find. Who's ever gotten this far I congratulate you, and hope you will take a peek at some of my creations and perhaps make a gift to someone who loves art and coloring in your life. Funny thing, I just started actually coloring them myself to have some finished products on Etsy and wow! I love coloring them. I haven't colored a coloring book in over 30 years and really, it's a GREAT way to relax and connect with the creative bone we all have. it doesn't matter HOW you color.
