Cosmic Geometry entstand auf Reisen.
Vom Tanz der isländischen Aurora Borealis, der Liebe auf den spanischen Inseln und Spaziergängen durch die symbolträchtige Landschaft Nepals. Auch die magischen Ecken Londons waren dabei.
Auch meditative Reisen ins eigene Innere spielten eine große Rolle.

Thangkas – tibetische Malerei aus Nepal
Alle Thangkas in unserem Shop werden von Tsultrim Lama und seinem Team erstellt.
Wir haben ihn 2021 bei einem Besuch in Nepal kennengelernt. Durch Zufall? Durch irgendeine Art von Synchronizität? Wie auch immer, wir haben uns dank unserer Liebe zu einem hervorragenden, mit Liebe (von Herzen) geschaffenen Handwerk sehr schnell verstanden.
Unsere Thangkas werden in seinem nepalesischen Studio „Red Tara Thangkas Production and Training Center“ in Kathmandu, Nepal, hergestellt.
Die Geschichte dieses Studios reicht bis ins Jahr 1880 zurück, als der Urgroßvater des heutigen Besitzers, Ankpa, ein Lama, gebeten wurde, Bilder zur Unterstützung der Meditationsübungen zu malen. So wurde das Malen von Thangkas zu einer Familientradition, die bis heute von Generation zu Generation fortgeführt wird.
Das Atelier wurde vor Kurzem erweitert, so dass Tsultrim Lama nun auf Assistenten zurückgreifen kann, die unter seiner Anleitung die Bedeutung buddhistischer Symbole studieren und sich in der Kunst der Thangka-Malerei schulen lassen.

Hallo, ich bin Maugo, ein interdisziplinärer Künstler aus Polen. Ich arbeite gerne mit anderen kreativen Köpfen zusammen. Ich interessiere mich sehr für die tibetische Kultur als Praktiker und Forscher.
Darüber hinaus liebe ich es, Schmuck, Poster und Illustrationen (digital und traditionell) zu erstellen.
Ich begann, Mala-Perlen zu kreieren, die von meiner eigenen spirituellen Praxis inspiriert waren. Ich musste meine eigene Halskette sowie die einiger Freunde reparieren und neu gestalten.
Ich habe schnell mehr darüber gelesen und Meditationsmeister, die ich traf, um Rat gefragt.
Ich liebe es, seit meiner Kindheit Schmuck herzustellen (für ein anderes Projekt entwerfe und fertige ich weitere Makramee- und Drahtwickelarbeiten). Aber Malas haben einen besonderen Platz in meinem Herzen. Sie sind nicht nur schön und energetisch kraftvoll, sondern können auch für spirituelle Übungen wie Mantra-Gesänge und Yoga verwendet werden. Und das ist sehr schön!
Ich wähle meine Materialien sorgfältig aus. Ich verwende nur Naturstein und Holz von zertifizierten Lieferanten. Ich habe viel über die Eigenschaften von Kristallen studiert und erprobe das Wissen in der Praxis. Ich nehme meine Halsketten auch oft mit an Kraftorte: wie heilige Hügel und Berge, buddhistische Stupas und Gompas. Ich stärke sie mit Sonnen- und Mondenergie (je nach Stein).
Die Natur und Umweltfreundlichkeit sind mir sehr wichtig. Gaia ist unsere Große Mutter, nicht wahr?
Für mich (Zitat von Elizabeth Gilbert) bedeutet KREATIVES LEBEN, „ein Leben zu führen, das stärker von Neugier als von Angst getrieben ist“.

Cosmic Geometry was created while travelling.
From the dance of the Icelandic aurora borealis, love in the Spanish islands and walks through the symbolic landscape of Nepal. There was also the magical corners of London.
Meditative journeys into the inner self played a large part as well.

Thangkas – Tibetan paintings from Nepal
All thangkas in our shop are created by Tsultrim Lama and his team.
We met him in 2021, while visiting Nepal. By accident? By synchronicity of some kind? Anyway, we got along very quickly thanks to our love for an excellent craft created with love (from the heart).
Our thangkas are created in his Nepalese studio 'Red Tara Thangkas Production and Training Center' located in Kathmandu, Nepal.
The history of this studio dates back to 1880, when the current owner's great-grandfather named Ankpa, who was a lama, was asked to paint pictures to support meditation practices. This is how painting of thangkas became a family tradition, continued from generation to generation until today.
The studio has recently been enlarged, allowing Tsultrim Lama to use assistants who, under his guidance, study the meaning of Buddhist symbols and train in the art of painting thangkas.

Hi, I am Maugo, an interdisciplinary artist from Poland. I love working in collaboration with other creative minds. I am really interested in Tibetan culture as a practitioner and researcher.
Not only that, but I love creating jewelry, posters and illustrations (digital and traditional).
I began creating mala beads inspired by my own spiritual practice. I had to repair and redesign my own necklace as well as those of some friends.
I quickly read more about it and asked meditation masters I met for their advice.
I have loved making jewelry since I was a child (for another project I design and make more makrama work and wire wrapping). But malas have a special place in my heart. They are not only beautiful, energetically powerful, but can also be used for spiritual practice such as mantra chanting and yoga. And that's very beautiful!
I choose my materials carefully. I only use natural stone and wood from certified suppliers. I have studied a lot about the properties of crystals and test the knowledge in practice. I also often take my necklaces to places of power: like sacred hills and mountains, Buddhist stupas and gompas. I empower them with sun and moon energy (depending on the stone).
Nature and being eco-friendly is very important to me. Gaia is our Great Mother, isn't she?
