Hello, and thank you for stopping by my little piece of Etsy!

I've loved crafting and creating my whole life, but needle felting is a relatively new discovery for me, and It started right here with Etsy, when in 2010 my sister bought me a beautiful little owl badge for Christmas. Since then, I've become infatuated with the craft, and knew I had to pursue it one way or another. And so Dainty Robot was born!

Each item in my shop is handmade, created solely by me in my spare time, so please be aware that there will invariably be slight variations between what you will receive and what you see in the shop photos. Honestly, though, I think this just makes each item all the more charming and unique! I do my very best to detail each item as carefully as possible, but If you have any queries at all, please don't hesitate to contact me!

Don't see something you want? Well I am all for taking custom orders and would be more than happy to accommodate you and your ideas, just send me a convo, and we can get the ball rolling! Just to note, the maximum height I make at the moment is 10-12".

It's important to know that I don't recommend any of my pieces for children, or as toys in general, as In a lot of listings, I use wire framework and clay, that could prove potentially dangerous to children and animals.

If for some reason there is a problem with your order, please contact me through Etsy convo to discuss and try to rectify any issue BEFORE leaving negative feedback. Positive feedback is important to a fledgling business such as my own, and your patience and understanding is greatly appreciated! My goal is to create fun, lovingly detailed pieces of wool art for people to love and enjoy, and I hope you'll agree!

If you like the shop then follow me here on Etsy.

Hope to hear from you soon!

Returns and exchanges
As mentioned above, If you are unhappy with your purchase, please convo me and I will make every effort to rectify the problem. I ask that you please do so BEFORE leaving feedback.

I do not accept returns on custom orders, or as a result of unexpected custom fees incurred by the buyer. I also don't accept returns as a result of size or colour issues. I do my very best to accurately detail every listing, but the buyer must be aware that colours can vary because of individual monitor settings.

It is my job to create the pieces and package them appropriately, but I cannot take responsibility for Items damaged in transit, as such, I do not offer returns in these cases.

I will offer a refund if an item proves to be faulty in some way (though this has never happened before.) Any returned items must be returned in the same condition as you found them. They must be returned in their original or similar packaging, and they must be shipped with tracking. When I receive the returned items and investigate its condition, you will be refunded, minus the cost of shipping.
I accept payment through PayPal and credit cards, but payment must be made, in full, before an order can be shipped.
Each listing is made to order, unless otherwise stated, and as I am attending art college full-time, it means orders can take up to 4 weeks to finish. Typically, though, orders rarely take this long, especially on smaller creations, such as magnets and badges.

I know the anticipation for receiving deliveries can be agonising, so communication is of the utmost importance to me. Buyers will be kept up-to-date with the status of orders, as well as being notified once an item has been shipped.

I use An Post (the Irish postal service) to ship all orders, and depending on size, will be decoratively packed and sent in either large padded envelops or packets. Also, according to An Post, International orders can take up to 3-4 weeks to deliver.

I offer two types of shipping, Standard (which has the advantage of being cheaper), and Registered (which is a little more expensive, but has a tracking facility.) The costs for both options are detailed in each individual listing. However, I can not be held responsible for any shipping delays or loss once a package has been shipped. Once I have shipped a package and have proof of shipping, I have completed my end of the transaction and will no longer be held responsible for your package. An Post is a great facility, but it isn't unheard of that rarely packages can get delayed or lost, so please be sure that you are happy with this policy before you make your purchase.

Once an order has been made, it is shipped between 1-3 days after.

Be sure to double-check that your address is correct before purchasing. Buyers are responsible for any shipping costs of returned and resent packages that are as a result of an incorrect checkout address.

Buyers are also responsible for any customs fees, taxes, tariffs, duties, etc. that may be incurred at the time of delivery. Please make sure that you are up to date with your own countries customs fees. Returns will not be accepted due to customs fees.
Additional policies and FAQs
To insure your needle felt creations last the tests of time, please follow these simple guidelines:
- Do not use as a toy
- Try not to handle excessively
- Do not get wet
- If your felty needs a clean, avoid rubbing, and instead use a light cloth or duster
-Because needle felting uses wool that is 'locked' together, and not glued, fraying can often occur over time. If you find this happening, or that the wool is coming undone, simply trim the fibres with a scissors to have it looking fresh again! Alternatively, if you have your own felting needle, you can easily needle the wool back in place.
