Making Space for Practice
I created this space as a way to share what I’m learning about the body and how education and cultivating an intentional movement practice can help to relieve chronic pain and live a more connected life.
I knew I wanted to call this project a studio. I do a lot of different things and mostly am looking to carve out space and time for them, creating my own little studio space. “Go slow” is what I’ve best learned to do in my journey. We have to keep moving forward, but in order to do that with respect to ourselves and what we need, it’s important to take our time. Keep moving, but go slow.
Previously, this shop was called A Mess of Good and focused on handmade items for homemaking and entertaining. While I still value those things, my current focus is on healing and the body. I hope this space will continue to grow into an exploration of mind-body-spirit and include other things I’m passionate about like herbalism, art, domesticity, and ecological gardening.
