My love for stationery began in high school. I have always been drawn to notebooks, paper, beautiful designs, and the simple comfort of writing things down. Later, in my 40s, I discovered that I could create the kinds of stationery products I had always loved myself.
Creating crafts started as a hobby. I began making party favors and small displays for friends, then for my daughter’s own celebrations. Seeing how much joy these personal details brought to special moments inspired me to keep learning, creating, and eventually take my first party-favor orders.
The idea for my first reflection journal began from a personal realization: as a single mom, I needed to make space to care for my own wellbeing too. I wanted something gentle that could help me pause, organise my thoughts, reconnect with myself, and move through difficult co-parenting moments with more calm.
Today, ILEA STUDIOS brings together my love for meaningful paper goods, reflection, and handmade keepsakes. From journals and printable pages to future personalized party favors and gifts, each item is created with care to feel useful, comforting, and special.
