Hi, my name is Lara Elsie Fitzgibbon and I am the artist, illustrator and graphic designer behind Lara Elsie Design. I am based in Co. Dublin, Ireland.

I've worked in graphic design for the last 8 years and just a couple of years ago I decided I wanted to focus more on my own freelancing business. After spending a lot of time working in grids and sitting at a screen, I wanted to go back to drawing and improve my illustration skills. I decided to focus on designing wedding stationery as a way of combining my print design/prepress skills and improving my traditional watercolour painting skills.

Once COVID hit, there wasn't much business for printed wedding stationery so I decided to focus on my art instead, bringing some digital illustration to the mix! In May 2020 I opened my etsy shop as a way to sell my art. I now have over 35 art prints available to purchase and have also been lucky to work on multiple commissions over the last year. My style uses a combination of traditional hand drawn methods such as watercolour and ink as well as digital illustration.

I love to play around with colour and try out new mediums that will enhance my work. My inspiration comes from the world around me, mostly nature and art. I'm always eager to visit new places and immerse myself in the history and culture of anywhere I go!

I enjoy doodling and painting botanical graphics in my spare time so I decided to add clip art to my Etsy shop. I want to share these graphics with the world to help you in your next DIY project :)
