Creo arte perché l'argilla mi fa sentire a casa: un materiale che mi parla mentre lo modello. Crescendo in Slovacchia, ero circondata dai ritmi semplici della vita quotidiana e dalla tranquilla bellezza della natura, e quelle prime esperienze sono ancora intrecciate al mio lavoro. Dal momento in cui ho modellato l'argilla per la prima volta, ho sentito una connessione con la sua forza organica e le sue infinite possibilità.
Il mio lavoro si concentra su sculture floreali in argilla, pezzi unici, ciascuno realizzato a mano, senza scorciatoie. Sono attratta dalle forme botaniche non solo per la loro bellezza, ma anche per la loro resistenza e le loro silenziose imperfezioni: le sottili peculiarità e asimmetrie che rendono ogni fiore unico. Attraverso la forma e la consistenza, la mia arte celebra il legame senza tempo tra il mondo naturale e la creatività umana, ricordandoci che la bellezza non deve essere perfetta per essere significativa.
Sono affascinata da come un materiale semplice come l'argilla, se trattato con cura e intenzione, possa evocare emozioni, ricordi e una sensazione di presenza. Che si tratti della curva di un petalo, della tensione di uno stelo o del modo in cui la luce gioca su superfici e ombre, le mie sculture sono inviti: a fermarsi, a osservare e a percepire la poesia nelle forme di tutti i giorni.

I make art because clay feels like home — a material that speaks back as I shape it. Growing up in Slovakia, I was surrounded by the simple rhythms of everyday life and the quiet beauty of nature, and those early experiences are still woven through my work. From the moment I first molded clay, I felt a connection to its organic strength and infinite possibility.
My work centers on one-of-a-kind clay flower sculptures, each piece developed by hand, without shortcuts. I’m drawn to botanical forms not just for their beauty, but for their resilience and quiet imperfections — the subtle quirks and asymmetries that make each bloom unique. Through shape and texture, my art celebrates the timeless connection between the natural world and human creativity, reminding us that beauty doesn’t need to be flawless to be meaningful.
I’m fascinated by how a simple material like clay, when handled with care and intention, can evoke emotion, memory, and presence. Whether it’s the curve of a petal, the pinch of a stem, or the way light plays across surface and shadow, my sculptures are invitations: to pause, to notice, and to feel the poetry in everyday forms.
