Made some lovely mittens. The stitch looks nice! I used lion brand worsted fisherman’s wool and it’s not as soft as I would like but apparently good for water resistance and still very warm.

Hi there, I'm Sarah and I'm so glad you found me! I am a crochet designer and blogger at nedandmimi.com

I’m a mom of three (24/7), a coder (by day) and a crocheter (every other minute I can find!) Really, I just like to make things 🙂

I love to crochet practical items, so all of my patterns are for functional and stylish homewares, garments and accessories. When you make something from one of my patterns I want people to say "Wow, did you REALLY make that yourself!?"

My own mom thought me to crochet when I was a little girl and I’ve dipped in and out of it over the years. When I started having my babies and spending more evenings in than out, I found myself picking up my crochet hook again. That was back in 2012 and I haven’t been able to put it down since.

Most of my patterns are suitable for beginners or confident beginners - I want you to be able to make something that looks amazing but is not necessarily difficult to make. So when someone gushes over one of your projects, you can just say casually "thanks, I just whipped this up last week!"
