I am fresh out of high school and excited about spreading my wings and soaring, but not interested in ending up in corporate America.
My grandfather, Jozef, is my everything including my inspiration and mentor and I want to make him prouder than anyone else. He had risked everything, including imprisonment, in his late thirties escaping communist Czechoslovakia with his wife and three children. All this for an opportunity for a better life for his family. After a few years, he opened his own manufacturing company making heat presses. After many years of hard work, sacrifice and dedication he employs 30 people in a 40,000 square ft building. He achieved the American Dream. I was born the first generation American and was to spend every day at the company from 5 days old until now.
I felt like I wanted to do something that is a part of him. His company makes the machines, and I started learning about the products that could be made with the heat presses. I immediately fell in love with the complete process from designing, to implementing, and to shipping out to happy customers. I have a team that makes “A Heart of Thread” what it is today. With their determination, guidance, and positivity I know this company will grow exceedingly.
My goal is for everyone to be creative and express their ideas with these products that will be keepsakes, memories, or gifts.

I was very impressed with the quality of the blanket and the design. My daughter loves that it's personalized, and she likes the softness of the blanket.
