Mi nombre es Donna y crecí en el hermoso noroeste del Pacífico rodeada de una familia y amigos increíbles.

Trato de tomar todo en la vida y darle mi toque creativo. Me encanta cocinar desde cero y pintar las paredes del color que me inspire. Hago colchas, tejido, cuentas, pinto, trabajo con arcilla y metal y forja de plata, trabajo con lámparas, jardinería y trato de usar mi espíritu imaginativo siempre que sea posible. Trato de reducir, reutilizar y reciclar, y mi arte de medios mixtos es una prueba de ello, ya sea usando metal y alambre del vertedero, haciendo algo hermoso con herraduras desechadas, reutilizando parte del correo basura que se acumula tan rápido o ahorrando retazos de tela de la basura. Me encanta el color y los elementos naturales y la belleza (junto con una gran taza de café). Me encanta el aire libre y espero que mi arte refleje ese amor.

My name is Donna, and I grew up in the beautiful Pacific Northwest surrounded by an amazing family and friends.

I try to take everything in life and put my creative spin on it. I love to cook from scratch, and paint the walls whatever color inspires me. I quilt, weave, bead, paint, do metal clay work and silver smithing, lampworking, gardening and try to use my imaginative spirit whenever possible. I try to reduce, reuse and recycle, and my mixed media art is proof of this, whether using metal and wire from the landfill, making something beautiful from cast-off horseshoes, repurposing some of that junk mail that stacks up so quickly or saving fabric scraps from the trash. I love color and natural elements and beauty (along with a great cup of coffee). I love the outdoors and hope my art reflects that love.
