¡Hola! Soy Britt, la creadora detrás de Selah Script Co. Déjame contarte un poco sobre mi negocio y cómo empezó todo.
Soy quien soy hoy, todo gracias a Dios y a la maravillosa familia en la que Él me puso. Mi tía Christine y mi abuela fueron creadoras y alimentaron esa chispa creativa en mí desde muy joven. Mi mamá también me inculcó su increíble sentido comercial y mi papá me enseñó las habilidades prácticas y la mentalidad de resolución de problemas de un carpintero. Cuando me casé, mi esposo apoyó todos mis deseos creativos y cuando mi astuta suegra me regaló su Circuito, me dieron las herramientas que necesitaba para comenzar mi negocio. Todas estas influencias se unieron para crear la persona que soy hoy, la propietaria de Selah Script Co.
Estaba rodeada de la impresionante naturaleza del sur de California, que rápidamente se convirtió en una fuente constante de inspiración para mí. El océano, el desierto y las montañas eran fuentes de una belleza impresionante, y la canalicé en mis diseños.
Todo comenzó con algunos recuerdos que hice para amigos y familiares. Cuando mis seres queridos se casaron, tuvieron un bebé o se fueron de vacaciones, me encantaría hacerles regalos útiles. Hi there! I'm Britt, the creator behind Selah Script Co. Let me tell you a bit about my business and how it all started.
I am who I am today all thanks to God, and the wonderful family He put me in. My Aunt Christine and Grandma were both makers, and they nurtured that creative spark in me from a young age. My mom also instilled her amazing business sense in me, and my dad taught me the practical skills and problem-solving mindset of a carpenter. When I got married my husband supported every creative desire of mine and when my crafty mother-in-law gifted me her Circuit, I was given the tools I needed to start my business. All of these influences came together to create the person I am today, the owner of Selah Script Co.
I was surrounded by the breathtaking nature of Southern California, which quickly became a constant source of inspiration for me. The ocean, the desert, and the mountains were all sources of awe-inspiring beauty, and I channeled that into my designs.
It all started with a few keepsakes I made for friends and family. When loved ones got married, had a baby, went on vacation I would love to make them useful gifts. From there, my friends and family started asking me to make their loved ones special gifts. I started selling my creations and before I knew it, Selah Script Co was born!
The word "Selah" is a Hebrew word that means "pause" or "reflect," and that's exactly what I want my designs to do. I create personalized keepsakes that bring back special memories and encourage people to pause and reflect on what's most important to them. Every piece I make is carefully crafted with love and thought, making it truly special and unique.
It's been a wild and wonderful journey, and I'm so grateful to be able to do what I love every day.
