Frequently asked questions

How are my items made?

In my studio in Zeewolde, I create each object specially made to order using 3D printing.

In this process, recycled plastic is heated until it becomes fluid, allowing the 3D printer to build the object layer by layer. Each layer the printer deposits is actively cooled, so the material hardens immediately.

This process takes between 10 and 20 hours, depending on the chosen model and size. This is how your object slowly takes shape with that characteristic, layered texture that makes each piece so unique.

What materials are your items made from?

I make all my products with care from 100% recycled (bio)plastic - rPLA and rPETG. The rPLA comes from recycled food packaging (like fruit trays and food containers) from the Benelux region. The rPETG I use is made from thermoformed medical packaging.

By choosing these recycled materials, I give plastic waste a second life. When you purchase one of my products, you're not just going for a unique design - you're also contributing to a more sustainable future!

Can my 3D printed vase hold water?

My vases are designed for decorative use only, without water. Because I build them layer by layer, tiny spaces can form between the layers, which means water might leak. Perfect for dried flowers and silk flowers!

Want to use fresh flowers? Choose a model with a glass insert.

I have a problem with my order, what should I do?

If you need help with your order, please message me, and I'll help you immediately.

Usually, I answer the same day, but always within 24 hours.

I try to provide you with an appropriate solution as soon as possible.

Do you accept returns?

I accept returns within 14 days of receiving the order.

Custom-made items and second-chance items are not eligible for return.

If an item is custom-made, I will always let you know before you order. Custom-made items are items with a unique colour or size that I made especially for you.

Who is responsible for the return shipping costs?

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs.

If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

Once you place an order, you agree to my shopping policy, and I assume you are aware of this.

Who is responsible for customs and import duties?

Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I'm not responsible for delays due to customs.

You’ll be charged Customs Duty on all goods sent from outside the UK (or the UK and the EU if you’re in Northern Ireland) if they’re worth more than €150 (or £135). The courier will charge these fees upon arrival in the UK before delivering.

PLEASE NOTE: For orders over £135 to the UK, you will not see UK VAT/sales tax during Etsy checkout. I have no control over how this is presented at checkout by Etsy. It's important to realize that this tax will still be charged upon arrival in your country.

What makes my items special?

Personally crafted: I make your object to order, creating it layer by layer specifically for you. This process may result in tiny variations in texture or finish; those subtle differences make your piece one of a kind.

Lightweight yet robust: 3D printed items are lightweight by nature, which makes them easy to move anywhere, yet strong enough to survive accidental falls.

Sustainably made: Created from recycled materials from mostly-natural resources like corn starch, giving waste material new life.
