HANDMADE BY THE MINDFUL MENACE
My mission is to provide a truly unique shopping experience. I believe in high quality, practical products that will catch your eye, never go out of fashion and be kind to the environment. I maintain the idea of having less but absolutely adoring what you do have.
I offer a range of products that I have personally designed, made and use in my everyday life. As a result of this the range of products can look quiet random but I'm confident that if I find use in them everyday there will be lots more that will too! Products range from meditation props to help you ease into practice as well as practical strong bags and backpacks to beauty products such as my silk pillowcase that i cannot live without. All made while being conscious of the environment and only using sustainable earth friendly fabrics.
The Mindful Menace journey started in 2016 after a few small synchronistic events completely turned my life around. The first of these meaningful coincidences appeared in the form of my dad introducing me to meditation. My whole outlook on life took a turn
and I came to realize I was so unhappy as I was living inauthentically and wasn't living my true purpose. Which I know now is expressing myself through creativity whether its designing, sewing or painting the list goes on. As I continued my daily meditation practice I would get very uncomfortable having to change my position again and again, getting pins and needles and so on. I started looking for solutions and made my first buckwheat zafu. My parents run a small upholstery business so its second nature for me to make something up before looking to buy. I haven't looked back since then, to this day I'm still using that same cushion in my daily practice. Another game changer presented itself in the form of eye an opening documentary 'The True Cost'. It woke me up to the fast fashion crisis and changed my shopping habits forever. I am proud to say since that day I have done my absolute best to be a conscious shopper.
My core values include sustainability, environmentally friendly, quality over quantity, practicality, workmanship, attention to detail, honesty and authenticity.

Do you personally make every item yourself?
Yes I personally design, create a pattern, cut out and sew every product myself. Daughter of an upholsterer and a seamstress, I learned my sewing skills at a young age. Gift wrapping and packaging
You will receive your item securely packaged and gift wrapped using eco- friendly recycled brown paper. It is then secured enclosed in a sealed Eco-friendly Biodegradable Mailer Bag. If your order is a gift and you would like me to include a gift note with a special message, just let me know and I will handwrite on your behalf. If you are buying multiple items that are individual gift, leave a note and I will happily gift wrap them individually.
