Our Story: Preserving Filipino Flavor, One Shirt at a Time

It all started with a simple idea — what if we could wear our favorite ulam?

We grew up surrounded by the smell of sinigang simmering on a rainy afternoon, sisig sizzling on the table, and kare-kare shared during family gatherings. These dishes weren’t just food — they were stories. Stories of our grandparents cooking by instinct, of recipes passed down through memory, not measurements.

But as the world became faster and more digital, we realized something heartbreaking — many of these recipes, and the stories behind them, are slowly fading. The handwritten notes, the kitchen secrets, the Sunday traditions — they’re being forgotten.

So we decided to do something about it.

The Projects PH: Filipino Food Collection was born — a creative way to preserve our culinary heritage by turning Filipino recipes into wearable art. Each shirt carries a piece of our identity: the warmth of home, the laughter around the table, the pride of being Pinoy.

Every design celebrates the dishes that raised us — sinigang, adobo, taho, lumpia, and more — transformed into modern streetwear that connects Filipinos everywhere. Whether you’re in Manila, Dubai, New York, or Tokyo, wearing these shirts is like saying, “I remember where I came from.”
